Rita sighed and ran after the Cloyster. She flung a pokeball at
them.

Harley finally got up, moving towards the pokeball with the Lampent
inside. He picked it up, clipping it to his belt with a tired sigh.
He then started to walk back down the route. He figured he'd catch
one more pokemon before he went to fight a gym.
Harley pulled out the Lampent's pokeball, sending out the pokemon.
"Well, I did run into a Litwick. Caught it as a Lampent though." He
sounded rather proud of himself, as he looked at Sophie. "Why, you
looking for one?"
Well, it says in my book: In a cave, long ago there was a Litwick. Everyone had tried to
catch it but failed. Not even the strongest dark type Pokémon could
defeat it.
I have an Absol and I would like to catch it. Wait, did you catch
it? Sophie looked shocked.
Harley gave a small shrug, turning to his Lampent. "I don't know,
but maybe if we battled we could tell." He said confidently. "You
said not even the strongest dark type could beat it, so we battle.
My Lamoent against your Absol."
"Alright Lampent, use Confuse Ray!" Harley commanded, and the ghost
type complied. He grinned confidently, looking at Sophie. Confusion
could turn the tides on any battle, turning what appeared to be an
already won battle into a intense, heated hope that your pokemon
could pull through its confusion.
"Lampent, use Will-o-Wisp!" Harley said, to the Lampent.
Will-o-wisp would leave the Absol with a burn, and add the confusin
on top of that, and he could hopefully rack up some damage.
Dodge and go underground!
Now use Dark Pulse! The attack was super effective! Lampnent has 29
hp left.
Suddenly, a long sticky glue grabbed Absol and Lampnent. It pulled
them down the hole Absol had dug. Absol, no! Shouted Sophie and
followed them down the hole.
