Harley picked up an empty pokeball. While he didn't want to waste any, he hoped that it would work, and if all else failed he would simply run. He threw an empty pokeball and the Lampent, ready to run.

Harley slumped back in relief, not even bothering to hide the relieved sigh that escaped him. Instead of moving to pick up the pokeball, he just slumped to the the ground, lying with his back to the ground.
