Unlike most others, when a trainer passed by Felice ducked behind a
wall of crystals instead. The girl walked by, unaware of her, and
she heaved a sigh of relief as she went back to collecting items. A
Paralyse Heal, a Rare Candy... She handed the Rare Candy to Jet,
who swallowed it instantly. He made a soft niise of contentment.

A flashlight shone in Jo's eyes, blinding her momentarily, before
it pointed back to the floor, and to a Charmander crouched on it,
growling slightly. The Charmander's owner - a girl with brown hair
- started shouting for help, which suggested that her Charmander
was weak. Good. "Grumpy, use Poison Gas," she whispered, not
wanting to alert the trainer. Grumpy did as told, as soon the
Charmander was whining and scrambling along the floor to it's
trainer, whilst he trainer was coughing madly. "Use tackle!" She
shouted, getting into the battle. Whilst the Charmander's back was
turned, Grumpy crept up on it and used tackle. The Charmander
looked weak. "Again!" She called. The Charmander fainted. The girl
squealed, picking it up.
Tackle and bite being Juan's only moves, Ryssu ordered tackle again
on the nidoran, still against the wall. As Juan rammed into it, it
was knocked out and returned. Now all there was was a pidgey
The red haired girl's pokemon was a squirtle, and she turned to
Cerulean. "I found it first! Squirtle, use water gun!"
Felice spotted the girl and her poisoned Charmander. Feeling pity,
she ducked behind a wall and flung over a Poison Heal. She made
sure she was out of sight to both Jo and the trainer. She then went
back to picking up items like nothing had happened. Jet made an
amused sound and continued watching her.

The water gun hit the zubat, sending it back. The girl threw a
Pokeball at the Eevee.
Soon, Juan knocked out the pidgey as well. Triumphantly, Ryssu
jumped on the boy, snagging the Pokeball with the fainted Nidoran
inside as he was running away. Ryssu was gone before he could
rescue his Pokemon.
"Now, get out of here, kid," she instructed the girl. She nodded
fiercely, giving her Charmander a poison heal that Jo hadn't seen
her holding before. She picked up some items the girl had dropped -
three pokeballs, a great ball, a revive, two potions and an oran
berry. Not bad for her first fight. She then continued searching
around the caves, and telling Grumpy how well he had done. He
appeared pleased, as he should. She picked up something shiny from
the ground - a crystal - and examined it for a second, before
stuffing it into her pocket.
The ball shook once, twice, three times...caught! "Let's get rid of
this fiend! Water gun again!" The squirtle knocked the rattata away
with a jet of water.
Most of the kids were gone by now. Juan really wasn't in the state
for another battle, but Ryssu managed to catch sight of a trainer
in red clothing. He had a charizard with him, and Ryssu avoided
him. Was her mission done? She radioed the other initiates
She sent out the Eevee. "Swift, Water gun!" She ordered both her
pokemon at once. The girl was lean, and swift, she wouldn't be easy
to catch.
"How many trainers have you beat? I stole this idiot's Nidoran, and
I've got some treasures. Ya think we scared 'em all off?" Ryssu
spoke quietly into the radio as to not alert other trainers while
her team needed healing.
The swift and water gun would have knocked Cerulean back before the
kick could land. The boy in red turned the corner and saw the
Rocket grunt, ordering Charizard to attack.
"Cool, but do you think they're all gone?" Ryssu prompted, stroking
Juan, who was starting to whine from his scratches. Ry wanted to
return to base now, there wasn't really much she could do until the
Nidoran healed up.
Alcora sat in a room, with her older sister. Her legs were crossed
as she half listened to what her sister told her. She swung her
legs under the table.
