Meka had mostly watched the entire battle. It had seemed the others
had it handled without her, so she hadn't bothered to join in. She
was simply floating above the camp, her mind wandering.
Audax followed suit. The camp was littered in papers and some odd
ritual materials, like chalk and some extra black masks of various
sizes. He didn't really know what to look for, but he gathered some
of the papers into a pile, ignoring his aching ear.
Strange... what might the documents be about? Audax gathered some
more, intending to read them in a bit. The jumpsuits... they were a
strange shape; Audax wondered what pokemon they were meant for. He
was about to consult his book.... when he realised he'd left it
back at camp. Ah well, he could do it later.
The jumpsuits seemed pretty harmless enough. Nothing happened when
touched. It seemed like they were just for aesthetics purposes
only. The documents on the other hand had more information on the
cult as well as the link between the sky and land
Azure nodded as he looked over them. The Song of Flight...how the
cult was formed...the main location of the cult...just little
things as he looked through the documents while the sun was setting
Hmmm... it was beginning to get dark... maybe they should head back
to camp? Audax skimmed through the documents a little bit while
waiting to go. They were pretty intriguing.
Audax's ears perked up, his injured one flinching as he moved it.
Who were these two groups? ...Friends, maybe? But they probably
weren't... he turned to Azure.
Azure sighed. He hoped Meka was doing something... “Time to fend
them off before we get some rest at least...” He was already
preparing a Hydro Pump. “I hope I never have to put this much
effort into anything again.”
After a moment of thinking, Audax sent a swift at the second group
with the same intent as Azure, to scatter them so that they
wouldn't attack all together.
Fortem woke up to a strange feeling. "Hmm? Whats that?" He asked
sleepily. Perhaps it was the bubble? Why was it shaking?
Meka eyed the second group, firing an aura sphere in the center of
them as soon as she spotted a chance. She assumed they were foes,
if they weren't they'd reveal themselves otherwise pretty quick.
As it would turn out, Yung was just giving him the relaxing
treatment he did at the parlour. He saw that poor Fortem was
battered and bruised, in his words.
The groups dodged the attacks, in turn they coordinated their
attacks to attack them both in a pattern
Fortem relaxed as he saw Yung, but just a bit. He'd hoped that
being captured was just a bad dream... but it wasn't. "Thanks
Yung," Fortem told him. "It feels pretty good..." He yawned.
"Anyway, I promised you a recap of the other temples, right?" He
caught Yung up on the Mountain, Desert and River temples. "And then
I got captured, and here we are," He finished.
Audax barely managed to dodge the attacks, as they grazed his pelt.
This would be harder than he thought... should he go for a bite?
After a little hesitation, he combined a tackle and a bite to cut
through the enemy line, and split them, before leaping back.
(Mm...I'm considering discontinuing this. Some people who've
sign-uped haven't posted...)
Yung nodded and gently petted him. "...it's awful. I do trust my
son and Azure though...Azure's a smart one when he puts his mind to
it. It's frightening sometimes."
Audax's attack split them a little but they retaliated with the
black orbs, which split into multiple others which flew into the
air and rained down like sharpnel
