Audax observed the ritual. Looks like they're literally raising
hell in there, He wittily joked in his mind. "I wonder what
that ritual they're doing is for... and why they're doing it," He
asked quietly. They were probably up to no good.
"Either way...I know this is banditry but...well, I think a little
revenge would be good." Azure said. "When I fire the Sheer
Cold...or if Meka decides to fire first. Everyone charge. Either
way...I am landing this attack."
Audax watched the cult members break their circle and attack. What
should he do? Tackle? Swift? He was so caught up in his thoughts
that a pokemon almost hit him with a shadowball! He dodged, then
sent an accurate swift, hitting three of the enemy pokemon.
There were attacks flying everywhere but even so, it was clear
which pokemon was on which side. Each of the cultists had a
negative energy surrounding them
Audax wondered what the auras were. Maybe something they got from
another cult ritual? He put the thought aside, he needed to focus
on the battle. He was indecisive enough as it was, he didn't need
another distraction. He was hit by fury swipes, but flipped back on
his feet, and tackled. He surveyed the battlefield for a moment to
try and see who was winning.
The cultists were being pushed back. Some were trying to escape
with things but Azure was having none of it, freezing them in place
and snatching the things they were trying to escape with
Good, that was good, they were winning. Audax continued to fight
alone (not being great at team battling). He wondered how good he
might be at fighting if he had had mana to join the school of
magic.... eh, it was never gonna happen; it didn't matter. Audax
charged at the enemy line, and tackled a few pokemon.
The pokemon Audax was fighting were knocked back, evidently they
were taken completely off guard by the sudden attacks. One of them
shakily got up to fire a shadow orb
Audax tackled the pokemon lightly as it fired, sending the shadow
ball veering off course into the air, and the pokemon a little
bruised on the ground, but not seriously injured. That was good;
Audax was fine with attacking, but he was against killing.
Audax didn't move fast enough, and was hit by the shadow ball,
thankfully, just on his ear. He cursed as it bled, but sent a swift
right back at the opposing pokemon. The pain only set in after he'd
attacked, and Audax flinched in pain.
"Thanks..." Audax mumbled as Azure fussed over his wounds. He
wanted to look around the camp, but Azure probably had plans; and
they'd get to that eventually... no need for him to suggest it.
"Ah, nothing," Audax said. "I'm just worried... about the whole
situation, y'know." It wasn't a lie, he was anxious, he'd never
been out of Luminia untill the whole portal thing happened.
