Soliare, already feeling quite homesick, wonders why she- out of all people- had to experience this. Possible pain likely leading straight to death. She felt like it was unwise to think that this is why she would die, but she had no idea that her wisdom came from something else... inside of her... waiting to hear the crunch of rat bones.

River was feeling a bit homesick as well.... She could've ignored the letter and gone to the mall with her friend circle from high school, but no, she was stuck in this hotel, and was forbidden to leave it. She missed her friends, her family, her pet snake... She wanted to go to college one day, get a career, and have a good rest of her life. She wanted to fly away from this place...

Tatsuo had recently been promoted from being a security guard to monitoring one of the subjects for some project that he had not yet gotten the full details of. He had just finished making some black coffee, as he headed towards the room where the subjects were.

Karlee received a cue from the other monitors, signalling that all of the subjects had been covered. She stepped over once more to the control panel and plugged a key on her necklace into a slot, turning it and pressing a button. A collective *k-ching* was heard throughout the room as the shackles released. Windows opened, just a crack, allowing fresh air to circulate throughout the room. Pressing the microphone button once more, she removed the key and said, "You are now free to move around the immediate area. Remember which bed you're on! That's where you'll be sleeping. Lunch will be brought up and twelve thirty!" She tucked the key back under her shirt, then released to microphone button and watched.


Zylanac sat up, stretching, then caught sight of his forearms and froze, the bone blades clearly visible.

River had stretched her arms a bit, as she realized that her ears felt a bit...... funny. After putting her hands close to her ears, she realized that she now had a pair of feathery "ears" right in front of her normal ones. "Is this some kind of a practical joke?" she asked, "If so, then who the heck glued these feathers to my face???" After a while, she also noticed that she had..... wings??? And she has full control over them??? Now... this is getting a bit weird, even for this dumpster fire of a hotel.


Merlyn had immediately jumped out of her bed as her arms were freed. "Wooooooooooo, finally I'm free!" she shouted, "And maaan, am I hungry...."

"You could say that again..." Allison responded, her voice sounding a bit flat, "I'm just finally glad to not be chained down like that."

Aria shot up instantly. She glanced down at herself and saw she had no visible mutations. "What happened..." She mumbled. What had happened to her? Just then, footsteps approached.

Rita walked up to her. What a nice-looking person. She thought to herself, then chucked it aside. Damn, being pansexual could be annoying. She cleared her throat. "May I know how you're feeling?"

"I..." Aria blinked childishly. "I feel fine..." She felt as if her brain wasn't functioning from Gay Overload.

Aria's fierce blush was starting to trigger Rita's as well. She quickly looked away, scribbling notes on her notepad. "Thank you." She retreated as quickly as possible.

Tatsuo entered the room and went over to where River was. "Is your name Blake?" he asked, as he took a sip of his coffee.

River looked up. "Yeeees.... But everyone just calls me River."

"Ok then, River, my name is Tatsuo, and I'm gonna be monitoring you for the next..... I dunno how long we'll be here," he sighed, sipping his coffee again, "So..... How are you feeling right now? Look, I know we both would rather be doing literally anything else, but please just answer the question..."

"I'm doing.......... ok???" River answered him

"Ok, great," he noted it down on his clipboard

Zylanac overcame his immediate shock. Then, an incredibly loud bellow came from his mouth, his eyes fixed on his arms, and the bones fucking out of them. "WHAT DID YOU DO!? WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY ARMS?!"

Aria and Rita both cringed and opted for conversation to distract themselves. "I'm Rita." Rita introduced herself. "I'll be monitoring you for the next... don't know how long... Until they let you go or kill you." She pulled a face. "No approval here."

"Okay..." Aria sighed and looked around again. "What mutation do I have, since everyone else here do?"

"It's supposed to be about healing. I don't know much else-apparently your body interpreted it in a different way than it should have." Rita replied.

Hypno got up the bed and stretched her sore muscles. She could finally massage her head and she did so. The pain was going away already. Everywhere around her, people were talking with the doctors or just wandering around. Feeling bored, she paced the room. She wasn't used to staying at one spot. She saw a mirror and decided to maybe fix her hair for a while. When she saw herself, she realized her once blue eyes were grey.
"Huh?" she wondered and started to look closely at her eyes.

After staring at her eyes for about a minute, she gave up on trying to figure out why. She sat down on the bed and played with her fingers. She was bored and her imagination was running wild. She decided to look out the windows and walked towards them. She looked out the glassy surface and looked outside.

Hypno looked out the window. It was too dark outside and nothing could be seen at all, even if it was in the afternoon. The windows were probably tinted. She made out the shining metal gates surrounding the place. She walked back and shrugged. She continued to walk around the room, the doors leading out were shut. She felt her stomach growl.
"I'm starving," she said as she sat down. She looked over at the clock on the wall. They should be giving the meals soon. She walked to the mirror and continued observing her new, dull grey eyes.

Sure Ash anything to make you feel comfortable as a sing of trust *he serves himself some water and takes a drink from it he then later fills a new cup and gives it to him by opening a door compartment that allows to put stuff in it and then push back to the test subject* See nothing bad about it, it's not poison or makes feel weird at all and regarding about breaking glass my fellow companies believe you have some sort of unique ability but we dont know what exactly so I will be in charge of figuring out how on earth you can do that *he sounded dramatic at the end there trying to cheer him up or making him feel more comfortable* For now I want to know more about you all and in exchange I'll tell you about me?

"B...but..." Karma muttered. She didn't quite know how she was supposed to reach the window when she could barely lift up her head. She was slightly less confused after processing what Karlee had said, but still was not quite sure what was going on.

As soon as the minute hand reached the 0:30 mark, the large doors at the head of the room quickly swung open, revealing countless people, all dressed up. They brought in a rather large table, then set it in the middle of the room and left. After about thirteen seconds, they came back with more types of food then there were people in the room. One woman, a tall black haired titan of one that is, stepped around the table and announced, "Lunch is served! Enjoy your stay at Overwrite!" with that, the servers disappeared behind the large doors.

Aria felt and heard her stomach grumble. Well, she did have to eat sooner or later. Disregarding any fear of the food being poisoned or spiked with something, she sat down and began to eat.

Rita watched Aria eat, a soft smile and slight blush on her face. When Aria looked over, she looked away quickly, cheeks flaming.

Oh sorry I thought you had no restraints *he releases Karma restraints by a push of a button then he pulls a container from her cell placing some water and food for her and then pushes the container back for her to have* This should help you regain a bit of strength
