[Fortem]
Azure and Emerald could only watch in horror as...he fell onto the
ground, unresponsive. Completely unresponsive. There were no words
that were said. That could be said...
Emerald collapsed onto his knees
Drew was relaxing in camp until he heard Fortem saying something
about Yung. “What is happening there?!” Drew thought to himself. He
decided to go to the direction that he heard Fortem from. He raced
right to this cage with darkrai. He halted seeing Fortem
with Yung and Meka yelling at Darkrai. “WHAT IS GOING ON?!” Drew
said in a panic.
Fortem's breaths got even shallower as Yung lay down, perfectly
still. "Yung, please!" Fortem looked at him desperately with wide
eyes, nudging him. He turned to Meka. "You! You can heal, right!
Help him, please!" He was getting really desperate, and was finding
it hard to think.
Meka was a little to angry to listen properly. "I'm quite sure he's
dead, idiot." Were the angry words she spat at the pokemon she
already wasn't happy with, mixed with her boiling anger over
that pokemon.
Fortem tried to ignore Meka's words, but they stung, both the
reality of the situation and the name calling. He looked sadly at
the blue and black pokemon. He didn't even know what to do... he
tapped his tail on Emerald, remembering that he was his father...
she must be feeling even worse than him. The whole mountain top was
silent for a few seconds, for the brave pokemon who'd helped the
entire city.

“Enough.” Came a weak reply. “This is what you wanted right?” He
aimed those words at Meka and Winter. “...it’s alright. I
understand...” he soon faded to light.
Emerald looked at the pokemon in front of him. “...this is what
both of you wanted...right?” He repeated slowly, his voice full of
disbelief
Winter stared at him in shock and disbelief, feeling betrayed.
"F-for him to die? No!" He took a step back, stumbling. "How..could
you ask that? Meka was mad, maybe, but.." Tears sprang to his eyes,
and he ran back to camp, unable to say anymore.
Meka, on the other hand, just gave them and angry look. Her anger
wasn't directed at them, though, and she was looking past them, she
wasn't paying attention. It sure looked like it was aimed at
them, however.

*Blade was sitting off to the side, he looked as if he didn’t care,
but he really did, just on the inside, he wasn’t keen on showing
emotion*

Fortem respected the alolan vulpix. Sure, he was friend with the
annoying pokemon, but that in itself was a respectable feat. And he
really did seem to care about Yung too... he wanted to talk with
him later. Fortem wanted to forgive Meka too, but it was so hard...
she didn't even care about a dynig pokemon right in front of her!?
Fortem felt his eyes pool up with tears, but tried to stop them.
He'd barely known the pokemon, did he even deserve to cry over him?
It was all in vain, and they dripped down his face anyway. He
wanted to curl up into a ball. If only he'd been there sooner!

Emerald was silent. He couldn't speak. There was nothing he can
say. "...I suppose it's time to go back down." He said slowly.
"Let's go." He said those words slowly after a while.
He slowly made his way down the mountain. Azure would follow
Fortem was hardly thinking as he followed the group down the
mountain. Tears just kept falling down his face, blurring his
vision, and his mind was full of regret. If only. If only. If
only. Eventually, they made it back to camp, and Fortem
collapsed in his den and cried some more, letting out pathetic
sounding cries and whimpers for a lycanroc.
Drew stood there, shocked. “No, no, NO!” Drew had a feeling
of both hatred and sadness, but it won’t change the past. He was
ready to go back to camp. He started to go down the mountain,
thinking hate and sad thoughts. “I CANT BELIEVE THIS.” Drew
thought. Eventually, a tear did come out, but Drew wiped it away
angerly.

The news was broken to Mewtwo, who seemed to take it worse then
Emerald...
It was broken to Bri... he cursed himself for not getting to know
him better.
In the evening, Emerald went to see Fortem.
Azure would check on everyone.
Meka flew down the mountain after Winter. She had noticed Yung's
death, but her deep buried anger for her worst enemy had rendered
the feelings of grief...null. She'd most likely feel something
later, but all she knew now was anger, and there was no room to
think, so she rather blindly followed Winter back to camp.
Fortem noticed the sound of footsteps approaching as he cried
softly in his den. The smell was familiar, like deja vu, but he
couldn't pin point who it came from. Whoever it was would probably
find him really pathetic and useless, just like how he saw himself.
Fortem sniffed and looked up, to see Emerald. "You probably have
more of a right to be sad than me," He half joked, still with tears
in his eyes. He felt embarrased to be seen this vulnerable,
especially in front of someone who he respected, like Emerald.
*Blade had respect for the Lucario, he respected him, he wished he
could’ve gotten to know them better*
*Mamoru was crying, which was odd for her, she cursed herself for
never having made her healing power stronger, she wiped the tears
off her face, which was just making room for new ones*

“No...I refuse to believe he is dead.” Emerald stated simply. “I
will find a way to bring him back...” He knew that fatal blow had
to be a farce or something:...
