Jack waits for Purrloin to make a move

The Purrloin hissed as it was hit with a Tackle (Tepig is level 5, it learns Ember at level 7), returning the attack with a scratch.

A Patrat walked out of the grass, as if looking for the previous one defeated.

With no answer from N, Daphne decided to head to the Pokecenter to heal up her Pokemon, "I think I need to get some Pokeballs before I head to Route 2", Daphne said to herself. Meanwhile Gopher and Oshawott were playing with each other, then she said, "Let's go Gopher and Oshawott, we must continue to Route 2, I think it might be time to see if we can find another teammate to join us on our adventures".

Luke is almost at Accumula Town and he starts running towards it, excited to try and have a battle with another trainer to level up his Pokémon. He then says to himself, “Maybe I should train some more out here.” and walks to route 2.

The Patrat was caught unawares, and fainted instantly in the first attack.

The Purrloin hissed as the attack hit, backing up.

Team Plasma

As the crowd quieted down, the line of uniformed people broke, as a robed man stepped out from behind them. Seeing as he caught the attention of the crowd he began to speak. "My name is Ghetsis, I am here representing Team Plasma."

"Today, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to talk to you about Pokemon liberation." He paused as ripples of confusion echoed through the air. "I'm sure most of you believe that we humans and pokemon are partners, that have come to live together because we want and need eachother. However... is that really the truth?"

"Have you ever considered, that perhaps we humans only assume that this is the truth? Pokemon are subject to the selfish commands of trainers, they get pushed around when they are our "partners" at work. Can anyone say with confidence that there is no truth in what I'm saying?" The robed man gave a faint smirk as words of unease started to leave the people's mouth.

"Now, ladies and gentlemen, Pokemon are different form humans. They are living beings that contain unknown potential. They are living beings from whom we humans have much to learn. Tell me, what is our responsibility toward these wonderful beings called Pokemon?" Faint whispers spread through the crowd, and Ghersis let them speak. He spoke up only once he heard the word he was hoping for.

"That's right, we must liberate the Pokemon! Then, and only then, will humans and Pokemon truly be equals. Everyone, I end my words here today by imploring you to consider the relationship between people and Pokemon, and the correct way to proceed. We sincerely appreciate your attention."

And with those words, two of the uniformed members stepped foward, taking down the banners. They formed a ring around Ghetsis as they left Accumula Town, headed down Route 2. As soon as he was out of sight, the people turned to eachother, finally asking their questions and thoughts. Once they had all spoken about what they heard, the crowd all dispersed, leaving only the new trainers, and a strange boy.

Luke makes it to Accumula town, deciding to go after all. He and Slither heard faint whispers among some of the people. He looks around, a bit nervous. Was something different around here than it usually was? He continues to walk.

Aria nodded along. Really, Ghetsis wasn't wrong in what he said. But he was over-generalising. Some pokemon do want to fight. Some pokemon, like Chase, came with their trainers due to admiration or other such emotions, and were not forced into it. She trailed a hand through her hair and sighed. Really, Team Plasma had amazing potential for becoming an organisation that worked with things like liberating pokemon that were treated poorly, but this generalisation is what-in Aria's opinion-made them a "Villainous Team".

"What a ridiculous idea! I mean, liberating pokemon. Is that even possible?" Leslie laughed, though her cherry attitude faded at the last sentence. She glanced at the strange boy who had yet to leave. He seemed to be watching them.

As he checked Samuri's stats, he noticed that he had leveled up to a level 6, though his moves were still the same.

"It's not ridiculous!" Aria snapped at Leslie. "While Ghetsis was over-generalising, what he's saying isn't fully wrong. Some trainers do treat their pokemon badly. In those cases, the pokemon do need to be liberated. And the police don't do a very good job with that." Ivy and Chase stared, wide-eyed, at their trainer for the outburst. "Sorry..." Aria added quietly to her pokemon.

Leslie was startled as she looked at Aria. She hadn't meant to offend her, but she truly hadn't thought that there could actually be bad trainers in the world. She reached out to try and apologize, but she stopped when she realised that the mysterious kid had walked over and was watching Aria. "There is nothing you need to apologize for." He spoke, though his words came out fast. "You are speaking the truth."

Luke is watching the people whisper. He sees a group of children, possible other new trainers. He sees them talking about something and let’s out Fluffy and keeps Slither on his head as he walks over.

"...Thanks." Aria was glad to see there was someone who agreed with her. She studied the person closely. "Are you the child of Ghetsis? Or related to him in some way? You don't need to say if you aren't comfortable." She added the last part in a hurry. Why did she have to be so da** curious? She doesn't notice Luke.

Leslie watched, unamused as the boy simply answered the question with a small smile and casual shrug. She had actually wanted to know the answer herself...

The boy suddenly looked like he realised something, and he mentally backtracked. "I apologize, I forgot to introduce myself. You can call me N." He rushed out.

Definitely short for something. Aria didn't want to risk making them more uncomfortable by asking, so she introduced herself instead. "I'm Aria, she/her. May I know your preferred pronouns?" She smiled at N in a hopefully reassuring way. Hopefully they take the hint and tell her their pronouns as well. Aria misgendered someone before and never wanted to do that again.

N seemed a little confused, but nodded. "I use male pronouns." He answered, though he didn't really see the point ti the question. He looked down at Aria's pokemon, "Are they... yours?"
