Its 2034. The world has been at war for years now with a powerful and unknown force known as the Krell. No one knows what they look like, but what they do know is that when they came, they came prepared for war. What remains of humanity lives in hiding or is fighting on the front to hold back the Krell. You are part of an elite task force, known as Echo Company, that has been fighting behind enemy lines for years on recon missions. But now, they are about to embark on the most important mission of their lives. About 76 hours ago, a transmission was recieved from a forgotten base in the middle of enemy territory. While the message was mostly impossible to understand, only 2 words came out clear. "Save" and "World".

*Maddy sat in her seat of the group's air transport. Her left hand was shaking and she took out a canteen to take a sip from it. She heard turbulence outside causing the hull of the transport to shake alittle*

Ashley was bouncing the ball of her foot to calm her nerves, her grip tightened on her arm rest at the turbulence. Her eyes flickered outside dreading if they fell from however high up they were for. . .she couldn't remember.

Freya wasn’t fond with being in here, a place where they could fall out of the sky at any second. She was always overthinking things and always thought of the worst possible outcome, making her paranoid to everything. She tried not to think about such possibilities, but it always somehow crept into her mind. She tapped her foot on the floor nervously, but had a stern and confident look in her eyes

Dug sat meditating mentally preparing himself for the trip. Apparently they were on another mission however this one was supposed to save this world. How this was any different alluded him however. He just always assumed they were saving the world.

*A pilot turned around and yelled at them from the cockpit* We are nearing the drop zone! Get ready. *Maddy nodded and stood up. She looked towards the group* Everyone listen up. We are about to go blind in enemy territory. We dont know how many there are or will be in the area, but be ready for anything. *The transport really began to shake. Maddy lost her footing and fell down she looked at the cockpit.* Turbulence? *The pilot looked back and shook his head* Krell groundfire! *The pilot pressed a button and the back of the plan began to open up.* I'm dropping you here! Good luck out there! *The pilot lowered the transport low enough so the group could jump out.*

Dug let out a breath before dropping out and rolling to break his fall. He began to dash to the nearby trees to try and get some cover. Once he got there he could hide and make a plan to either run or fight.

Freya knew this was coming and tried to prepare herself for it, but was unsuccessful. Her thoughts consumed her ability to have an appropriate response, leaving her eyes frantically looking around and her body shaking. “S*** s*** s***...” she continued to mutter, hoping no one would hear the panicked profanity. She cautiously walked towards the hatch and looked down, screaming at herself to jump.

Ashely had jumped out a few moments after Maddy did. She landed on her feet and ended in a roll before quickly following Dug the others into the trees.

Freya has jumped out later than everyone else. She didn’t really do well with falling out of the sky, but she had to suck it up and do it. She narrowly avoided a large rock in the ground when she landed.

*Maddy ran over to Freya to help her up* Get up soldier! *She pulled Freya off the ground and the transport was shot out of the sky. Maddy saw as pieces flew everywhere.* We need to keep moving

Freya quickly got up and took in a few deep breaths. She had the wind knocked out of her, and combined with the fall, she needed a sec to recover. She looked at Maddy, then the carrier, still worried about the situation

*Maddy looked at Freya. Freya looked tired, but that topically happens on first drops. Maddy and Freya walked back to the group and Maddy felt her hand shaking again. She took out her canteen and took a swing of liquid from it. She gulped the liquid down and sighed while putting the canteen away* Everyone alright?

Freya nodded, holding her left arm to hopefully try and calm herself down. She didn’t really know why it worked, it just did. “I would say we should take a break, but we can’t exactly do that right now...”

We need to get moving towards the rendezvous point. *Maddy knelt down and took a map out of her pack and put it on the ground for everyone to see. She put her finger on a line* This is where we are. Just 5 miles north of our lines. And we need to be here *Maddy placed her finger on a red circle* by Friday. That's about 167 miles north of here. Everyone understand?
