"They are harmless if they are already fused with a pokemon. But,
the best way to remove them is to combat the dark synergy with
regular synergy, as found in mega stones. Attacks will only knock
them out as normal, they won't be freed. As for where the stones
come from...I'm not sure, but I assume they are found in the Dark
Woods somewhere." Yoru answered their questions, shaking her head,
feeling helpless the more she talked.
Mia was looking more and more terrified. She had woken up in the
Dark Woods, she wondered what would have happened if she hadn't ran
away. She also wondered why she had been transferred there instead
of with the others.
"Regular synergy...found in mega stones...some of us definitely
can't mega evolve..." He sighed. If synergy was locked to mega
stones then he stood no chance in freeing them. Unless there was a
way to draw the energy out another way...? Noba sat there, duelling
with his thoughts
Fen nodded, wondering how the pokemon on the town had learned said
information. It seemed like it would be hard to figue out. "What
can we do about it?" He asked, wanting to waste no time.
"There are places where synergy gathers. Mega stones are just one
example, and the amount of synergy found would still be too weak.
For now we've resorted to just imprisoning the pokemon to the
Woods. Now, there's more to it than just that, just as important as
the shadow pokemon themselves, and it might explain Mia." Yoru was
trying to answer the questions as well as explain the situation,
and she honestly wished they would shut up and save their questions
till the end, as implied in her tone, ever so slightly
Noba nodded and snapped out of his thoughts. He wouldn't say
anything until after Yoru was done talking. He had asked all that
he wanted to for now...and was reassured he could still help
Fen stayed quiet. He'd probably asked enough for now, and he could
tell that Yoru was getting irritated. He nodded, but fiddled with
his tail impatiently, waiting for her to continue.
"The Dark Woods, disturbingly, is also known for housing legendary
and mythical pokemon, such as Keldeo." Yoru flicked one of her paws
at Mia. This is the part she'd been anxious to get to, as it was
the least known and maybe the most important part.
Mia gasped softly and looked at herself. Keldeo? That
was..incredible.. she flicked her water-looking tail. Maybe this
wouldn't be so bad...Keldeo had beat a Kyurem once, hadn't it?
Fen nodded. "I guess that would make sense of Mia..." He swished
his tail some more, deep in thought. But Mia was a human? Why had
she been separated from the rest?
Noba just sat there, slowly taking everything in. He did find it
odd that one was chosen to be a legendary when everyone else
was...regular? Normal? There wasn’t really a word for it in his
opinion
Fen caught Noba's eye from across the room. He wondered if Noba was
thinking the same thing about Mia, and how she was the only
legendary/mythical pokemon. It was a bit strange. He looked back to
Yoru. "Anything else that you know about those pokemon, and the
forest?"
"The disturbing thing about the legendary pokemon...is that they
are mostly corrupted themselves... such as Mewtwo, and Reshiram.
Those were the only two that were sighted, but the place is
associated with Legendary pokemon nonetheless, and the only ones we
found were..." She trailed off, thinking about how the attack
yesterday proved all, or at least some of the legends, real.
He just looked at Yoru curiously. Was this their life from now on?
Living in fear of all these different pokemon? Being oppressed and
oppressing them in return? It sounds extremely stressful...he felt
demotivated all of a sudden. But...he tried not to look worried
Fen had a lot of questions. What about those legendary pokemon made
them corrupt? Well, mewtwo was because he was made without
compassion or empathy, or so Fen thought. Maybe Reshiram was too
into their truth values? He didn't know. "Okay... I think I get it
then." He got up and stretched. "So... what now?"
Fen turned to her. "What were you going to say?" He asked. There
was really nothing to be scared of in the peaceful pokemon filled
living room. He kept fluffing his tail, waiting for a response.
Yoru shrugged in response to the others and looked at Furu. Truth
was, the only thing corrupting the pokemon in the dark woods was
the shadow synergy stones. Maybe they were overthinking this...
maybe there was something no one had thought to tell her...she had
a feeling the others were hiding something from her...
Noba laid down and started nosing at the leaf package he brought
back. He sniffed at the berries he brought back. They were edible
at least. He was still listening to the conversation though of
course
Holy ran into the forest, bringing back a few Oran Berries. She
immediately started to inspect them and take a bite of each one.
She ate so many she felt invincible.
“Bad for the ecosystem, good for me!” She muttered under her
breath.
Mia sniffed at the berries, stamping her hoof nervously. She never
wanted to visit those horrible woods again. The creatures
there...they were unnatural. That was the only way to describe it.
She was happy for Yoru, hoping that these new pokemon, who were
human as well, might be able to help her leave or get used to this
place.
