Fen tiled his head. "It's cozy over here," He says, motioning to
the couch. He hopes that he could talk to Mia and calm her down, as
she seemed pretty skittish. He also wanted to ask about her
possibly being a human. "Want to sit or lie down?" He scoots to the
side to make some room.
Mia nodded and shyly sat down next to him. She glanced at Yoru as
she came in and approached them. She supposed the Zorua had gotten
the supplies now, and wanted to check up on them, but she wondered
what the rockruff would possible want to ask.
"How are you feeling?" Fen asked compassionately. "Last night and
all the other time in the woods must have been hard," He says. It
was a good lead to a conversation, he thought.
"Don't talk about the woods, I never want to go there again..." The
rockruff seemed nice, but last night had made her feel sensitive to
the whole idea of being a pokemon now. It didn't help that she
couldn't remember anything, and knew nothing about this place, or
what she had become.
Yoru began bandaging Midnight up first, as she could see fen was
busy at the moment with the Keldeo.
Fen nodds. In hindsight, it might not have been the best idea to
bring up the forest. He decides that now would be a good time to
ask what he was wondering. "Human too?" He whispered like he did
with Noba, soft enough that it could be brushed off as nothing, but
easy to know what he was taking about if he was correct. He covers
his side with his tail nervously.
"H-human...? Did you say human?" Was it possible that this rockruff
was in the same situation as her? She said in the same soft tone,
cautiously. "Yeah." She blinked at him, wondering what that meant.
What was going on?
Fen grins widely. He was right! "Noba and I are in the same
situation, and I suspect that everyone else except Yoru, Yami and
Xena and the townsfolk are too. I heard one of them say something
about cows which don't exist in this world... but I'm getting off
topic. Noba and I have no idea what's going on either," He expains
quickly and softly.
Riptide overheard them. I may be in the same situation, he said. Do
you know anything about this? Maybe we can figure it out together.
Riptide felt relieved that he wasn’t alone. He wanted to learn more
about this.
"Did you wake up in the forest too? You seemed surprised when those
weird pokemon came out." Noba...that was that growlithe, right?
Everyone here was human? Strange...how did so many pokemon get into
her predicament?
Noba saw that Riptide just ran off mid conversation to talk to Fen
and the new one they found in the woods. It would he hard to say
that he wasn’t slightly hurt by this. When he ran off, Noba sighed
and trudged back to his room. “...I guess I’ll be alone then...”
Fen shruggs. He nods at riptide. "You, I could guess, you said you
were so hungry you could eat a cow, which didn't esist in pokemon.
Everyone else is just a guess, but a very educated guess. As for
how, I have no flipping clue." He gets up and stretches. "Noba
might be looking for me. I'll find you later, and tell you if I
have any more information." He smiles, and heads back to his room,
finding Noba awake.
Seeing Noba walk off, Riptide felt regret at his distracted
demeanor. He called to Noba, apologizing for his actions. Then, he
called him over. He was sure that Noba was in the same predicament,
and explained to him that he wasn’t alone.
Noba had already made his way and locked the room to his room. He
was under the covers trying to fall asleep and pretending not to
hear the calls for now. He’d come back out later
Fen paused. The door was locked. Hmm... Noba probably wanted some
privacy. That was fine, sharing his news about his guesses being
confirmed could probably wait (though he was excited to share it).
Deciding that it would do no harm to get some fresh air, Fen
slipped outside silently, as not to disturb or wake anyone. He took
a deep breath; the morning air energised him.
Noba apparently didn’t hear him. Oh well. Slipping a note under the
door, he went outside, because wanted to explore and meet new
people. He saw Fen, but left him alone. Mostly, he just wanted to
find a pool of water. He needed to keep in shape, and he LOVED
swimming.
Noba would wake up...say, an hour later. He felt more awake and
more at peace now then before. He didn’t notice the note and went
down into the living room. Maybe he could find something to do
