So I've been thinking why is the berries in the berry garden can't be sold in the Item shop why not make that a thing but 1 pd per 10 berries..

I'm just going to copy-paste my reply from a different thread with basically the same suggestion:

The berry garden berries were made to be unable to be used anywhere outside the berry garden for a reason. Part of that reason is precisely to prevent them from being sold in the item shop.

The difference between selling things to the item shop and selling them to other users is that in the latter case no new currency is introduced to the pool of existing PD.

Even if the selling price for berries would be low, they're quite easy to mass produce. There's no telling what the implementation of this suggestion would do to PH's economy. All this is presented in the original announcement for the garden by Riako:

Reason: Economy. You will get about 100 berries per harvest (and some berries only take 5 minutes to grow) and that would strongly unbalance the rest of the site. It would be too easy to get enough berries for interacting and it would also be too easy to get Pokedollar by selling each for 20 Pokedollar.
That's why there is a new place called "Berrymarket" where you can sell your harvested berries to other users (at a much lower price).

There's been some suggestions in the past to the similar effect of being able to sell berries to the item shop or feed them to your pokemon and they've been rejected. Like this one here where this same reason was cited as well. If you want more use for your berries, you can go support this suggestion of being able to use berry garden berries at the Moomoo Ranch that CatLady linked in that rejected suggestion.
