Hi guys, maybe you have the same idea or thought like me. You have either send sth embarrassing or you just want to have your PMs tidy. But then you noticed, that it exist no delete button!
So my suggestion is, that it exist a delete button, like as an "X" in the top corner of each message. For deleting more than 1 message at a time, maybe a tick box to mark every pm you want to delete and then in an extra option to delete them all. I'm bad at explaining, so imaginge it like other social platforms, who gives that option.
What do you think of it?

I would mind this but it would really be helpful in palpad. Like you have a preview button to check how your pm is looking but in palpad their is no such options in palpad and I have sent messages to the wrong person many times

Maybe a trash section would be a good idea so you can tidy up what would be your inbox, but I don't believe actually deleting private messages would be a thing that would happen. That's due to having the ability to always be able to report private messages at any given time, so that the moderation team have the ability to view said messages, and for them to know that evidence can be verified as being legitimate based on what someone is being accused of in a report.

Personally, I would love this and would be in full support of it, but this is no different as the user having the power to delete their own forum posts or being able to delete messages in Pal Pad. While I don't agree with users not having that power, I do however understand why this is done so that users can stay more safe, most especially kids here that may or may not be playing the game under parental supervision. We do have to keep in mind that PokéHeroes tries to be suitable for all audiences.

What Ephenia said, about having a bin option, seems like a good idea.
An example for Visuals.



@Ishan, you can still check who you were talking to, before sending. If it isn't enough, maybe post it in an other suggestion, as this is soley only about the private Messages.

Maybe there can be timer on when you can delete the messages permanently?
Like you delete the messages it goes into trash
After let’s say 6 months of it being in trash it permanently deletes?

Cause being honest if you report something like 5 months after the thing was done? Well then that’s not even because of the rules anymore. You got ulterior motives now.

@Taavi, yeah, I agree with you on this term. Especially if this person writes you after such a long time, just to smear it into your face. :s (Haven't to me yet, but to my other friends.)
6 months sounds a bit too much tho. Maybe 5 1/2 months?

honestly having a delete function for private messages would be great not everyone wants to see horrible messages sent to them remain in it that stuff could end up making people wanna leave...

I have some Pms I would love to delete.
I would rather have 2-3 months for deletion of the Pms in the trash bin though.

I had the same thought, I have so many pm's that I have a hard time finding the exact user I had talked to and want to talk to again, plus the search user button doesn't really work considering you have to type the user's exact name or it won't find it. This really helps make it easier
