Barry sees a police cruiser, but ignores it, not wanting to get in trouble with the cops, government, or something else even worse.

Luke is walking in the park, looking sad and miserable, thinking about what happened at his house.

Inkli watched out the window, then spotted the man. "Scuze me! I'll be back in a bit, alright? Just having to go through a little scuffle here!" He pulled his face away from the open window, then said, " Officer, how's your battery level? From here, I'd say it's looking low. when was the last time you charged this car? "

Barry doesn't notice the person because no one else is nearby and he is smiling, giving off the emotion of love.

Luke walks back to the place where the strangers were living, thinking this is the worst this day could get.

There wasn't much Sorrento could do now, he had shackled himself to the fate of carrying a heavy instrument back home and he would see the task to the end. Texting his fiance seemed to take the worst of his woes off, his significant other never failing to put a smile on his face. Passing a park, Sorrento spotted a kid alone walking past him, a cloud of sadness lingering over him. With a sigh, he shoved his phone into his back pocket and approached Luke. "Hey kid, you okay? Where's your parents?"

Luke sees the person looking for him, thinking he might be dangerous. He starts walking quicker in the opposite direction of the other person, hoping to get away from him.

Barry is walking to the park, and climbs a tree to think.

He rolled up the window and gave a small laugh. This kid... “Worry about yourself kid...” he said before returning his focus to the road. To be honest, he never bothered to check it out.

Rolling his eyes at the caution showed to him, Sorrento stepped in front of Luke, stopping the teenager in his tracks. "Hey, um just wanted to ask if you're okay." He stammered out, face gruff but voice unsteady. Scratching the back of his neck, he stayed back a respectful distance away so that if Luke wanted to, he could walk out of the conversation easily.

"Ummm... Officer?" HEe tapped the man's shoulder with one hand, half of a pair of handcuffs on it. " the battery is at about zero. " I think we might stall out. " Despite the concern in his voice, he couldn't hide his grin.

Luke seems to trust this person. "No, I'm not okay. My mom just went psycho and my dad bailed on me and my brother. I'm living with complete strangers who saved me and my brother, so yeah, not the best day in the world." he said and then walked off.

Barry is sleeping in one of the trees in the park.

Raising an eyebrow, Sorrento was at least relieved to know that he had someplace to stay. He continued walking as he mused over the situation Luke was in. Young people didn't deserve to go through something that horrendous and be tossed out onto the streets because of it. ... which seemed to be the case for the next person Sorrento came across, a young adult sleeping in a tree. Great.

Crane sighs as he walks to the park to sit down. He finds a bench and sits. "What a day... So who to now.." he says to himself.

After looking in everywhere in the house expect Crimson room. She realizes that Luke is gone. "Where did your brother go Tommy?" Octavia asks the kid. Tommy shrugs and points to the front door.

Cutting through the park to get home, Sorrento took a break by one of the trails and set his instrument down, rolling out stiff shoulders. It was hard carrying around a heavy instrument and his back was suffering for it. He jumped slightly when his cellphone rang, the soft music that had been his ringtone cutting through the stagnant air. Fishing it out, Sorrento took one look at the caller ID and accepted the call, the first words out of his mouth being "Hey, you okay?"

The voice of his fiance crackled over the old speakers, still light and melodious as it was in real life. "Yeah, just wondering where you are. You're taking a mighty long time to come home. Cheating on me?" It was said in a teasing tone, making a blossom of red appear over his cheeks.

"Shut up, I'm walking home." He grumbled, embarrassed at the little quip.

"I am here to protect you guys. Don't you know? You both have been followed..?" She squeezes Jay's forearm. Urging him to play along. "Don't ask too many questions, we'll have to explain this mess later, your little boy toy" she spits the last two words out. "He's in very big trouble" she has to hide her smile, she loves that he is afraid, it only makes her want to make things even more tense. Like an anaconda who has just caught it's prey, the more it thrashes the tighter it squeezes. She holds out a hand and places it on top Phee's hand. "Act natural, if you panic too much they'll know that you know... They don't like their prey knowing that they are stalking them" She watches Jay on the corner of her eyes. She is taunting him, she could easily murder Phee right now.

Luke gets to the building, not sure if he should call it home yet. He lays down on his bed sighing. He misses his old life so much already. The only things that make him happy now is his brother Tommy and his dog Brownie.

Barry wakes up and decides to go home.

Octavia sees that Luke is back. "Hey, kid. You good. I'm sorry I did what I did." Octavia says to Luke. She felt no guilt in her doing, but she felt guilt in ruining these two kids lives.

Jay hated this, he hated falling in their trap. He hated having to play the terrible game of torture and temptation. His breathing was shaky as he stared at her, not saying a word. Anything he said could be used against him, and he didn’t want that. If only he wasn’t such a scaredy-cat... He could protect everyone he knew from these demons.

Phee wasn’t buying it, she knew something was up. She could tell Jay wasn’t comfortable in the situation. “What are you trying to pull...”
