Rain decided to head home, since her family would be worried. She creates a portal to her basement. Pretending she was working down in basement and headed upstairs to her room. She sighs and jumps on her bed after changing into her pajamas.

Kevin stared at his tablet. He thought about Gold and his stupid face. He thought about how careless and self-satisfied he'd become, and sighed. He had fed Vix, now he didn't have anything to do. He could go back to base, but something about that seemed...useless. What would that change? He sat there, lost in thoughts circling in his head.

Jade was reading her book now. It wasn't one of those educational books, but it was just part of a dragon series called 'Wings Of Fire' She was on the 5th book in the series, and so far she'd dubbed book number 3 her favorite. It was so easy to imagine herself in a situation similar to the dragons in the book, and she forgot about the real world for a while.

"Well, that could be interpreted as calling me fat." He sat down hard, like an upset two year old . He watched as a deer bounded past, shrugged, the froze. He glanced over his shoulder the the the deer had come from. The spines on his tail shot out and he brought his wings forward to guard himself.

I'm not calling you fat for crying out loud! *he saw that he suddenly was on the defensive as he looks down all he could see was a deer passing by. He look back up the giant dragon as he sits in tree branch* Do you go out much?

Then why so defensive? You need to more keen eyes or senses if you want to know your true enemy *Of course this was just a thought he said he dint knew the dragon well and why he always so jumpy and defensive maybe he was not use to walking on the surface much* Do I'm just saying with out knowing things I dont know much about the dragons here but maybe you can clear my doubts?

The dragon didn't answer, instead watching the forest carefully. He was clearly looking for something. His tail was swishing back and forth slowly.

You sense some-? *for a moment Avagon also sensed something but he wasn't quite sure what it was yet. He quickly got up and watch his surroundings* I feel it to... *He grows his dragon wings preapre to fly if the threat was from the ground*

Jade suddenly stiffened, blinking. She'd just seen a flash like fire in front of her face. What was that? Bookmarking her page with a claw, the green dragon looked around the room for the source. Nothing. Had she been hallucinating? Suddenly she didn't feel like reading anymore. She checked out the book and began wandering the halls again.

A screech sounded nearby in the forest. Crimson bristled, the spines on his tail rattling like a snake's. "Bird-lion," he managed to choke out. The spines on his tail flattened, and his wings pinned themselves to his sides. He dug his claws into the ground, covering himself in soil and hurting himself. He looked an awful lot like a crocodile poking its head above the water when he stopped moving.

Dont you mean griffon? *he look around for the source of the screech so he flew up and fully transform into a dragon watching the skies for the creature* Where are you Griffon! *he turn every second making sure the beast wouldn't surprise him with anything*

Jade ran into Copper. "Ugh, hey Copper? I know this sounds sudden, but you gotta help me out here!" Jade had tucked the book under one one wing, and now her scales were bristling, and she didn't know why. All she knew was that she needed to be somewhere. Fast. It might have had something to do with that flash? She just knew she couldn't go alone

Aaron/Cobalt had found a cozy room to read in. He had read about the structure of the base, and different monsters and how to defeat them. At hearing Jade's voice, curiosity got the better of him, and he peeked out of the door to see what was happening.

"Okay. We have to get to the Pride forest, I think." Suddenly, Jade felt eyes watching her as she spoke the last words, breathed in through her nose and smelled Cobalt. "Cobalt? Did you want to come?" Her earlier shyness seemed to have vanished for some reason in her haste, and she seemed a load less nervous.
