Sage nods slowly. "It's unfair. All of this happened because some people think they are higher than the other" she keeps her voice soft and gentle. "That's why we have to stop them. This is the last place people can live safely. If the rich kingdom takes this place over, we'll never be safe. Here, you two can make a new life. This is also our chance to get revenge on the rich kingdom"

*Maddy nodded but then saw some people running to the walls opening* What the hell is going on? *Maddy turned and ran towards the wall to see three figures walking on the bridge. Two looked like they were messengers who were sent out..... and the one in the middle, was Talla*

"It's going to be ok." he says to Tani. Luke then sees Talla down near the wall. "Hey Tani, you are an escaped slave right? Because I think Talla might come and try to finish you off here and now. Maybe we should go somewhere else." he said, getting a bit worried about Talla's presence.

Sage clenches her fist. She follows Maddy and glares at Talla. "What are you doing here!?" She demands. Balin- sensing her anger, flies down behind the messengers and Talla. He glares down at the three. "Explain yourself!" Sage shouts, she lifts up her spear. She points it at Talla like a sword.

*Tani looked at Luke.* That's a very kind offer but, *Tani looked down at the town and saw Maddy running to the wall* I've got something tethering me here. *She saw Maddy stop at the wall and confront three people* What is going on down there?


*The messengers looked at him* We saw her walking through the forest. We luckily got the jump on her. *Maddy looked down at their uniforms and saw some blood* Then explain that *She pointed towards the blood on ones uniform* I said we got the jump on her. I didn't saw we made it out untouched. *Maddy looked at Talla. She had blood on her face and was gagged with a piece of cloth. Even without talking, she was still menacing*

Balin doesn't speak. His talons does click on the wooden bridge a bit, his sure sign on annoyance. Sage steps forward towards Talla. She seems completely calm, even though Talla could kill her within seconds. "What game are you playing at?" Sage asks. She rips the gag out of Talla's mouth then steps back. She presses her spear against Talla's chest.

*Talla smiled* No game, just two very strong men capturing a poor defenseless woman. Nothing wrong with that.

*Maddy walked up to Talla. Talla's eyes focused on her.* Remember me? *Maddy socked Talla in the face. Maddy looked at Sage* Miss, she could be valuable to us. We need to get every little bit of information out of her. Then we can feed her to the dogs

Topaz walks back to town (about a 2 minute walk) and spots Mallory and drags her to his clinic to tend to her injuries telling her to hang in there everything will be alright.

Sage glares down at Talla. "I believe that every person deserves a chance. But I don't we'll get a change of person from her" she glances at Maddy. "I'll let you take care of her, I'm sure you are itching to be the one to do it. But be careful" Sage walks away and walks towards her hut to check on Gwen.

Gwen was awake and in a lot of pain. Her skin was sickly pale and she was too weak to stand up. She stares at the door, although her eyes are in a daze.

Mallory returns to consciousness slowly, her clothes were stained red with blood. She groans. "Where am I?" she asks.

*Maddy looked at the two messengers* You two follow me. *The two messengers regagged Talla and brought her with them. Maddy led the to the horse stables where she instructed them to tie her up to one of the beams holding the roof up. Maddy looked outside and she saw two armed men walking to Maddy.* Sage sent us miss. She instructed us to guard the doors. *Maddy nodded* Smart of her to do so. I want you two to guard this door. Let no one in or out. *She looked back at the messengers and saw they had finished. She turned to the guards* And keep an eye on them *The men nodded and took positions next to the door. Maddy saw to it that the messengers took their place by the door, then she closed them*


*Tani walked down the hill and saw Sage walking away from the bridge* Miss, what was going on?

Sage gestures to where her guards were walking. "Talla has been captured. I have your fried questioning her" she informs. She watches Tani's face closely, trying to peg her reaction. "I'm not quite sure whenever or not your friend would want you there... but if you wish to join them, tell the guards that I sent you"

Gwen tries to roll over. Wincing when she places her body weight on her hurt shoulder. She finds she can only use her uninjured arm, but even that's not enough. She is just too weak. Dread fills her. Was this even a good idea? What if they decide to attack her?

*Maddy rolled up her sleeves* I dont care whether you tell me what I want to know or dont tell me anything. *Maddy stood right in front of Talla.* Because either way, I'm going to enjoy beating you into a pulp. *Maddy hit Talla in the nose and her head bashed into the wooden beam. Talla began to laugh.* Oh honey, if your gonna torture someone, at least try to seem intimidating. *Talla laughed and Maddy punched her across the face. Talla just continued laughing* Heres the funny thing. You and I both know that you wont kill me until you get even the tiniest but of information out of me. So even though I am stuck here, you have nothing. Nothing you can threaten me with, with all of your strengths! *Talla began to laugh louder. Maddy grabbed a branding iron and hit Talla over the head with it. Talla looked towards the ground and spit some blood out of her mouth* Now that, was fun *Talla began to laugh again*

Sage opens the door and raises an eyebrow when Gwen tenses up. She shuts the door and sits in a chair. She stares at Gwen.
"What are you doing here?" Sage asks. "Don't bother lying, based upon your armor it's clear you work for Francis"
"Worked... past tense" Gwen corrects, her voice weak. "I killed him" she sniffs and rubs her face with her uninjured hand. "Let me make this short. He tried to assassinate me because I refused to be like him" Sage stares at Gwen, looking a bit skeptical.
"So you have nothing to do with Talla suddenly appearing?" Sage asks. This stirs a reaction from Gwen.
"Wait... Talla is here?" She sits up, looking angry. "Don't trust her! I fear her and Francis are conspiring against this kingdom!" Sage stands up. Trying to process this information. She leaves the hut without replying. She walks to the stable where Maddy and Talla are

*Maddy grabbed Talla's face* Tell me what I want to know. Now! *Talla spit blood into Mddy's face and began to laugh. Maddy fell back and walked to a bucket of water in the corner to wash her face off. Talla spoke from behind her* You really have changed in two years, haven't you? *Maddy stopped washing her face and turned towards Talla* What are you talking about? *Talla watched Maddy's body language* You pretend to not remember everything, but in reality you are just scared. Scared of what people will say. *Maddy stomped over to Talla and punched her stomach* That's enough out of you. *Talla continued talking* All of these years, you have spent trying to put the puzzle of your past life back together. But there is one thing you never thought of. What if you met someone you knew.

*Outside the guards watched as people walked along. One of the mens turned to one of the messengers* Hey Baron *The messenger didn't respond. The man poked at him* Earth to Baron, Earth to Baron *The messenger looked at him* Yes? *The man looked at him* Jesus, I thought you turned into a freaking statue. You've been silent this entire time *The messenger still looked forward.* Just trying to do my job right now *The man walked in front of him* That doesnt sound like something you'd say and- hey, your voice sounds deeper. And you look taller *The messenger looked at the other messenger. The other one nodded and the two of them drew their swords and killed the two men.*

*Maddy turned and heard a struggle outside. Talla snapped the ropes that bound her to the beam. Maddy turned back around, but she wasnt quick enough. Talla threw Maddy through the wall.*

Sage gasps when she sees the messengers attack each other. She grabs her spear and runs towards the fight. "Hey!" She shouts. "Guards!" The poor girl was stuck in there alone. Would she be able to fight these two men? She points her spear at the two. "Don't move" she growls. "If you take one step forward... I will scream" she points up at the sky. Balin is making another circle above them. Although he doesn't see the fight because he is looking at the outer edges of the kingdom. "He will kill you. What are you planning?"
