So, the second part of day 8 requires you to interact with pokemon on the index/home page, but when I interact with them and check my progress, it says I haven't interacted with any. I'm worried that I won't be able to complete this day and be unable to finish the calendar.

It’s in the Index page (Home page), not on the clicklist you usually use. Click on PokéHeroes News in Home tab and you will see those 2 boxes
Don't mind me, just floating around here and there, once in a while :3

I know it's the home page, i've been interacting with the pokemon/eggs boxes but it doesn't register.

You have to click on the berry/scarf symbol on the index page in order to interact with them.

@SailorSunrise : Uhm.. That usually means that you have missed getting a retr0 egg from your Christmas gift. :(

You should leave a space in.your Party before opening any Christmas gifts, just in case that there's another retr0 egg in them. :S

If you get 'nothing', it means that it contained a Retro Egg, but there was no place in your party.
