Autumn paused for a long moment before glancing behind her into the still open doorway. A pair of slender arms suddenly snaked around her waist and that tough grouchiness seemed to melt away. The owner of said arms was a woman with short, dark brown hair, almost black. Her manner of dress was strange, with a patchy skirt and corset blouse, she looked like she had come right out of a steampunk festival. Cherri’s eyes brightened and she smiled at her as the woman rested her chin on Autumn’s shoulder, silently judging observing the guests, her soft brown eyes punctuating a round, friendly face. There was noticeably a dark green coil tattooed on her right wrist.

The woman was quiet, fingers interlocked in front of Autumn’s torso. She quirked a smile at them, eyes brightening mischievously.

“Name’s Aya. I’m the Emberforge gym leader.” The woman chirped, grinning brightly. Autumn smiled as she released her waist, moving to come outside. Her outfit was stranger still, with folded metal wings much like those on a skarmory. They seemed to be only decoration.

Shaye had been following the Professor and the other people that had been in the same condition as her for a while. The professor hadn't noticed her wake up so she just followed them to find out what to do. She had all of her Pokemon in their Pokeballs. Almost all of her memories had returned except for the ones before she came to this region.

Aya nodded softly. “Along with two of the elite four. The trio who never stop fighting.” She grumbled. The coil seemed to almost glow for a moment and the wind picked up around them.

Rain sighed. Nyi had gone invisible, and Autumn was leaning against the doorframe looking almost thug like despite her thin stature.

“That’s interesting...” she looked at the Skarmory, her eyes wide in shock. She stepped back a bit, then quickly looked at Aya instead. Something about Skarmorys frightened her, she didn’t know what yet.
