Quicksilver heard Benton talking a few rooms away, but she heard nothing from Dr. Money. She couldn’t make out the words Benton was saying, so she didn’t know he was dead

What Benton or anyone for that matter didn't know was there was a secret back up for all of Money's files on his experoments, it was hiding in plain sight and wouldn't be found. Eve got up from bed and started looking around the diffrent rooms under the trapdoor while holding her cat plush. "Daddy?" She pushed on the trap door a bit, making it move ever so slightly under Benton's feet. "Are we playing Hide and seek?"

(Whatever you do, don't destroy the back up files or hurt Eve (too much, a little bit is fine.) it's needed for plot.)

Hesitantly she got out of the trap door and followed him, having never been outside the trap door before Eve would stop and look at things. Benton eventually went over and gripped her hand and pulled her along. "Where are we going?"

(I'm just imagining Benton pulling Eve long by the hand she's being half walked, half draged along.)
