Faith had been holding Maddy's hand as if she could keep Maddy
alive by holding it, when she felt it go limp Faith released it and
broke down. Another one lost to them, Money and Benton. Save
your revenge for Maddy later, you need to keep moving. Faith
blinked back tears and closed Maddy's eyes, gently setting Maddy's
head on the ground and embraced Hope, who was mentaly guilt
tripping herself for not firing the gun sooner.
Despite the protest of Lucy's living allies to keep moving, Faith
insisted they bury the fallen, including Maddy. Each fallen ally
was put in a somewhat rushed shallow grave with a wooden cross
marking their spot. Maddy's was on a hill overlooking the cliff,
Faith figured she'd like it. Hope gew some flowers and decorated
Maddy's cross. The remaining survivors then left the spot and
sliently mourned the lost.
Hope still had the gun, she stared at it wishing she'd pulled the
trigger sooner, Maddy would still be alive then.
*Doctor Benton watched as him men brought an injured Doctor Money
into Benton's lab*
*Lucy looked at the MT and threw it off a cliff, to destroy it once
and for all. She moved a boulder and once it fell off the cliff,
crushed the MT. Lucy turned to Hope and hugged her* I know what you
are thinking. Maddy would have died no matter what Hope, we need to
move on

"But I can't! She was my sister and I couldn't save her!" Hope
insisted, the guilt and sorrow fresh in her voice. "If I'd pull the
trigger sooner she'd still be here!"
Quicksilver teleported to the highest tree in the area, far enough
so they didn’t notice her. She yelled curses at herself for not
being able to help more. Out of pure guilt and frustration, she
teleported to a cherry blossom forest, her favorite place as a kid.
“Shut up and let me leave! Let me leave this hell you’ve put me
through!” She cried, trying to force herself to open her eyes. She
began to regain consciousness, but was still unable to open her
eyes. Her body began to burn, like the skin was falling apart. She
tried to move her arm to indicate that she was trying, but it was
only a very slight shake, barely noticeable
The slight movement caught her attention. Sage couldn't speak, but
she could still let her know she was still there, she opened her
fairy dust vial and sprinkled some on Flay, uncertain if it would
help.
Have it your way, but it just makes it easier for me...
Suddenly it felt like she was grabbing onto a lifeboat. She
regained all feeling and she was able to open her eyes. “S-Sage?”
Sage nodded sliently crying in relief, she reached a hand out to
grab Flay's but pulled it back, remebering the black goo that had
jumped onto QS's fingers when she touched Flay.
Sage quickly grabbed the pen and note pad from the table and wrote
down why she was hestant: While you were unconcious, some woman
came and brought you here. She ran some tests on you and at one
point while the woman was doing some tests some odd black goo came
off you and clung to her. I don't think we know what it is or what
it can do yet.
Sage's face twisted in concern before using a bit more of her fairy
dust on her, as it seemed to help some. The fairy dust, Flay
noticed, was mostly green but had some pink sprinkled in, it didn't
seem to hurt her either. After the dust went away, Sage gently
cupped Flay's cheek with a hand after a moment of hestation, trying
to console Flay.
Flay sat there for a minute, confused and surprised. She knew that
Sage had something for her, but love... like that? She smiled a
bit, unsure of what to say or do next. “It really would have been
better if you didn’t come though...” she said quietly. She
regretted saying it a little.
“I-I know you won't, but it would’ve been better...” she looked
away from Sage. “I can’t do this anymore...”
QS grabbed a few branches off of the trees and found the clearing.
2 simple gravestones were laid there, and a small black cat. She
put the branches down and kneeled in the middle. “I hope you’re
watching...”
