Just then, the bell rang. It was time for first period.

Winter put away his tray and got up. Science again. But he just had to get through this in order to get to his fun classes. Though he knew he would zone out. At least all was right with Emerald again so he felt better about himself as he walked down the hall to science class. As he went, he passed Summer and Zora as they walked side-by-side to Math class. He wondered how Math was for them, as he was getting it next semester, after all. Of course, he had experience with math, he'd considered it just Science but with more thinking and strategies. Put simply, just as if not more brain-numbing. At least science had labs. Winter wondered if they were doing a lab today. Mr. Fen had had more time to recover than the other teachers, and Mrs. Ruby had made an assignment yesterday despite the whole ordeal....Maybe he just hated the mere prospect of staring at a book for 50 minutes straight.

Winter went to his desk in the science room. Mr. Fen hadn't yet arrived. Winter soon got out a piece of paper and started doodling odd shapes as he waited for class to start. He dared hope a little. If Mr. Fen wasn't here yet, maybe he was adding the finishing touches to his lab that he planned? Winter just didn't want to do what they did yesterday.

Melon nodded, "If you're sure about that...bye then you two!" She kissed Shade on the cheek and nuzzled Kitsune's floof before heading out the door. She arrived at science class. Jin and Cinder were already there, probably because Jin just teleported themselves there. Hm...the teacher isn't here... Melon thought, sitting down and taking out her sketchbook to doodle in.

Astrid and Astrix just stood there at the door waiting for an answer from the teacher quietly soon if they didn't get one they would just sit down somewhere
