Waving to the gatekeeper as well, Iola grinned and scratched his
cheek a little but sheepishly. "My rooms great but I don't really
know anyone else here." He admitted with a chuckle. "I hope you're
doing better. You seem to know a lot of Golden Deer people."
"I've already made some enemies in there, hehe" Clarisse's laugh
sounded embarassed.
"I may or may not have threatened them... but only because they
were saying stuff about me and the two of you..." she blushed,
fidgeting a bit.
"At least they look like decent fighters..." she muttered then.
Only then she registered Marcus' question: "Oh, me? I'm Clarisse,
daughter of House Goneril and member of the Golden Deer, and these
two are my friends... I mean, we met today for the first time..."
"Ah." Leaf looked down and he blushed also. "...I really wouldn't
know how to deal with that...guess it runs in the family...may just
end up in a punch-out." He murmured as he leaned on Iola
He then looked up at Marcus. "Hm? And my name's Leaf. I'm from
House Galatea in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. Member of the Blue
Lions."
"Ahahaha..." Laughing nervously, Iola turned his head away, a light
blush on his face. "I mean... I think that's one way of solving a
problem. My father used to do that a lot...."
His eyes darted back to Marcus and he put on a more friendly smile
than the awkward one from before. "I'm Iola from House
Duran-Fraldarius. Also in Blue Lions."
Corona went through the saddle bag pulling out some other things
including her favorite book, placing it on the shelve with the
spine inwards, as she reached for her beg, noticed the apple she
had picked for Speck. Might as well go and give it her she
though gripping the red apple.
Outside she took her chance on the gravel, where a bunch of people
had been earlier before they all went to their respectful houses,
and the area where Corona had tried her best to avoid.
It's nice to meet you all well at least I am not the only blue lion
here *he laughs nervously as he went to grab his stuff* So can i go
any room or i need to wait? *Marcus ask since he didn't know where
his room was*
As Clarisse opened her mouth she noticed the girl from before
leaving thethat dorms "Huh, wonder where she's going..."
She then managed to get her thoughts back on track: "Sure, sorry to
bother you" she said, smiling.
Noticing the walk was a lot than she had first thought, or maybe
she wasn't paying attention to it much. Since she was on the gravel
now, maybe she can take a chance and explore around, her uncle had
a lot of the details from his story down right pat, but some things
he did over exaggerated. She wandered what he'b doing by now. Is he
just sitting there on the dock over looking the river, was he
nagging the ladies at the town, or maybe he was asleep.
When he trained her, her uncle had a nasty habit of sleeping,
sometimes leaving her all by herself to train, which did get lonely
at sometimes, but she got used it to after a while, maybe that why
she avoided all those people.
*Marcus went to any room that seems empty so he could drop his
stuff and go about his business, after checking various rooms he
finds an empty one and settles in. He puts all stuff in his bed and
then took out a sword inside a cover case with a special symbol on
the center of the wooden box, he looks at carefully and takes it by
putting under his bed* Uff well what's next on the list *he opens
the window and leaves through the window making his up to the roof*
He watched Marcus leave before turning back to the other two.
"So...do you guys have any idea if what you would like to become
after the certification exams?" Leaf looked excited
*Marcus slides down the roof and goes to the training grounds to
train himself to use his sword better and later test his skills
with archery to see if his skills have not yet rusted or grown
dull*
Nodding a little sadly. "Yeah, my father's pretty great. But I
never really took up swordsmanship. I really could only hold a
rapier." Iola admitted, tabbing his arms. "But being a holy knight
sounds fantastic. I'm sure you'll be a great one. Maybe even better
than grandfather."
Leaf blushed a little at this. "E-even better then the renowned
Shield of Faerghus? That's quite a compliment, coming from one
who's in the family who usually inherits that title!"
"I mean, I'm probably not the one who's going to inherit the
title." Iola mumbled, shy and a bit embarrassed. "If anyone's going
to be a great holy knight, it's going to be you."
Leaf rocked a little, before stepping forward and giving him a
great hug. "You really are sweet, but you really should have more
faith in yourself, come on!"
"Uuh...I think... I'll go to Almyra to meet uncle Claude. I mean,
he's not really my uncle, but..."
Clarisse spoke, then noticed the sky was starting to become really
dark: "...anyways, I think it's time to go to bed. I'll see you
tomorrow."
She then headed to her room, had a little workout to exhaust what
little energies she had, and crashed on her bed.
"I'm not-" he started to object before getting caught off guard by
the hug. "Does having faith that I'm not very good count?" He asked
weakly suddenly overwhelmed by the fact that he was hugged.
