"You meed to believe in yourself, as well as everyone else. That's
what makes a good person. Besides, faith magic, people believe in
you to assist them, and you have to believe in them to keep going.
That's faith." He said reassuringly. "Carve out a path for
yourself, and be yourself. Don't sell yourself short."
"I mean..." Voice faltering, Iola blinked as Clarisse left
realizing that it indeed was getting somewhat late. "I'm not good
at that kind of thing but..." He trailed off simply unsure what to
say next.
"Don't worry, you'll succeed as the next head of house Fraldarius,
I'm certain of it." Leaf smiled. "For now though...it's time to
sleep, I think. Night Iola, let's hang out more tomorrow!" He
skipped away back to his room and promptly lay down on his bed to
fall asleep
Walking back to his own dorm, Iola flopped onto the bed and stared
at the ceiling. "Next in line for the Fraldarius title... Wonder if
that'll happen. " He mumbled before turning in for the night
*After long hours of training he went back to his room passing by
Lola and another person and crashes in his bed* What a long
day...
(Since were all going to sleep we gonna skip a day?)
Corona slipped back out she had stayed in the stables a little
longer than she had expected. Specks was grateful for giving her
apple like she had promised. Shutting the gate as quick and quiet
as she could. She made her way back to her dorm. She turned on the
lantern in her room, “Guess I’ll be sleeping on my blanket again,
hope it doesn’t get to cold.” She muttered to herself.
The next day, the bells ringed(?) to make sure all students were
awake.
Clarisse rolled out of bed, still sleepy, and fell to the ground.
She sat up, and began preparing to head out.
In the meantime, someone with good hearing could notice sounds of
preparations coming from the cathedral.
As Clarisse followed the flow of Golden Deer students around her,
she noticed some posters reminding anyone reading that the
Archbishop would have a small talk with the students about what the
next year would entail.
Getting out of bed with a yawn, Iola grabbed a bag full of snacks
and books, haphazardly putting on a new earring and somewhat
combing down his bed hair. Blinking at his reflection, he pulled
his hair up into a bun, regarding himself critically before letting
the hair back down. Up, down. A small debate that was ended by Iola
slipping a hair tie on his wrist and heading out. If he felt like
it, he'd put it up later. Spotting Leaf was a little hard because
of his sleep muddled brain but once he found his friend, he gave
Leaf a friendly wave
Corona stretched as she left her room, after whatever they going to
be doing, she would need to go back to the stable and take Specks
out for her daily ride, as for Corona herself would need to train
later that night. She wanted to be in top shape still.
When he saw Leaf, he gave him a wink, one that was very similar to
the previous heir of House Riegan, Claude. His mother told him that
when she first saw him do that, and Leaf looked up to him for his
attitude to protecting his allies no matter the cost, though, his
mother had always drilled it into him that he shouldn't learn from
his laid-back manner. "Morning Iola, did you sleep well?"
*While Marcus was waiting for class to start he saw two familiar
faces and went to say hi* Hi nice to see you all again *he wave his
hand has he saw Leaf and Lola* What you guys talking about?
D-did Leaf just wink at him? Flustered, Iola froze on the spot.
"Y-yeah, the night was.. uh.. restful?" He tried, smiling
nervously. Mortified at his own inability to speak like a normal
person, Iola his his bright red face in his hands. Now would be the
perfect time for a thunderbolt to strike him, he thought
mournfully.
"Yeah..." Iola nodded almost dejectedly before composing himself.
"And I'm... How are you guys? Had a good night's rest, I hope?" He
asked nervously directing the question to both of them.
Now a little more used to Leaf's sudden acts of physical affection,
Iola was only slightly caught of guard and managed a wobbly smile.
"Yeah. Let's make the best of our academy life." He cheered,
smiling sheepishly at Marcus. "I guess you could say so, yeah."
"Met today, but I think we've become fast friends, right?" He
looked at Iola for reassurance. "But yeah, even after our year
here, let's keep being friends! More relations between our houses!"
