"Eh?! Ah, yeah" chuckling, Iola had to will himself to not blush,
stop blushing damn it. He wasn't used to people other than his
mother casually flinging an arm around him. Glancing back at the
Golden Deer group, he couldn't help but feel a little bit bad for
Clarisse. While he and Leaf were lucky enough to be in the same
house, Clarisse was alone by herself and he couldn't imagine what
that felt like. He tensed suddenly when Clarisse turned her head
and meet his gaze, quickly snapping his focus back in front of him.
Now his face felt hotter than it had ever been, doubly embarrassed
at being caught.
Clarisse inhaled deeply, refocusing her gaze on the two noble girls
who were teasing her. "And what if I indeed had a crush on one of
them? Would it be wrong, in some way?" The two chuckled, but didn't
answer, so she continued getting in their face: "But, if I catch
you trying to slander me, or my friends, ever again, I'll make sure
you get what you deserve. Am I clear?" To prove her point, Clarisse
both flexed her biceps once again and showed her Crest of Goneril.
The two paled, while the other Golden Deer girls commented about
the exchange.
Corona had lead Specks into her rightful stable, her appaloosa blue
roan horse wavered upon entering, “Don’t fret my friend, you’ll get
used to it.” She stroke her a couple of times before Specks stepped
in, removing her halter and hanged it to the side. Her uncle now
retired had given her his sword as a farewell present, even tho it
badly needed repairing she could always find a Blacksmith to fix
it. Corona slid outside from the stables and made her way to the
houses.
"So, ah, do you know most of these people?" Iola asked timidly,
eyeing the other Blue Lions members. He stuck close to Leaf, lips
pressed tightly together. New environments a d Iola really didn't
mix well and the budding knight wondered if it would be be too late
to just jump back on his mount and return home as fast as possible.
Of course, he'd have to endure father's scolding but even that was
starting to look appealing in the face of meeting a hoard of new
people
"Eeh....no?" Leaf shrugged. "My house doesn't hold much influence
in the kingdom...so I rarely attended conferences or whatever
they're called." Leaf had his hand on Iola's shoulder for a bit of
extra comfort. He tried to be as composed as possible.
With the other Fawns bickering with one another about her reaction,
Clarisse looked towards the Blue Lions to see what her friends were
doing. She then noticed a girl moving towards the Lions' group. "I wonder what was she doing?" she thought, curious.
Pacing her steps normally she decided that it was not bad, most had
only greeted her with a wave and kept on with their business, only
once did someone make a small conversation with her, all she wanted
to do was find a place to rest, mainly under a tree of some sort
and away from the large gatherings of each houses.
*Marcus had his bag in his left hand and his equipment in his right
hand, he look at the Academy entrance door has he thought how
expensive it was to enter this school but he did pickpocket some
money so it was easy but at long last he was here* They told me I
am gonna join the blue lions lets see if there anyone here who can
help me?
"Greetings!" The gatekeeper exclaimed "you're late, are you not?
Well, follow me!" Havung said that, he led Marcus towards the
dorms.
In the same moment, Clarisse arrived at the Golden Deer dorms, and
was looking for her name on the various doors, just like all her
housemates.
She finally found hers, right next to the stairs that would lead to
the guy's rooms.
Leaf stood around outside his dorm, having been taken to his dorm,
which was near Iola's. He was back to reading a book. This one
however, was on faith magic. He hoped to one day become a holy
knight.
Corona felt unusual in the dorm, not only that she felt like she
walked two miles trying to find her name on the doors. Finally she
founds her. She was a little sad that she couldn’t see the stables
from the window.
Checking out his own dorm, Iola unpacked fairly quickly. Dump some
books on the shelf, hang up the extra pairs of clothes, shove
snacks into the cupboards, hide a knife under the snacks so if
anyone tries to steal them they'd regret it, make the bed, organize
all the writing utensils out on the desk. You know, normal things.
Smiling at how cozy his room started to feel, Iola only felt there
was one thing missing. Spending some time mulling over his
predicament, he suddenly snapped his fingers realizing what he
needed. A plant.
"Oh, so you're not native of Fòdlan? Where do you come from?
Anyways, Garreg Mach stood here for just over a thousand years, and
it's always been the main location for the Church of Seiros. At the
Officers Academy, inside the Monastery, the next generation of
Knights, nobles and mercenaries is instructed in many kinds of
combat, diplomacy, tactics and so on." The Gatekeeper explained,
leading the young outsider towards the dorms.
Clarisse had just dumped her stuff in her room. She ran outside,
smelling the cool evening air as her pace slowed, approaching the
Blue Lions dorms to meethave Iola and Leaf.
I am foreign and come ver far I like to explore and so on. I hope
to learn tactics and relearn the basics as they might say *As
reaches the dorms he sees that they are divided by colors and
country* So this is the Blue Lions dorm? *He asks as he sees the
symbol of the lion*
Being the perfectly reasonable person that he was, Iola stumbled
out of his dorm and jogged outside. Where he was going, Iola really
didn't know either. Probably to the greenhouse. On his merry way
there, he noticed Leaf and Clarisse close by and decided that
getting a plant could wait. New friends first. Turning around to
jog over to them, Iola waved at them before wondering if he was
simply making a fool of himself, running back and forth like that.
Just as Marcus asks that, Clarisse calls her friends:"Hey, guys!
How are your rooms? And the other Lions?"
She then notices the new arrival, with the smiling gatekeeper that
bows briefly and then turns back to resume his job.
"Hi!" She chirped.
He closed his book. "Everything's ok for me, but I don't know about
Iola just yet. But How's everything on your end with the Golden
Deers?" Leaf smiled
Placing the saddle bag gently on the edge of the bed, she decided
that nice air and the sun will be great for making her room feeling
happy. She had not packed much, some left over food from her trip,
a blanket incase she had to sleep on the way here, her charm that
her youngest brother made for her before she left to do some
training with her uncle.
She knew that there will be a chance to go into town, there she'll
get the things that she need. Placing her hand on the shelves of
the room she felt at peace, but it was kinda dusty.
