Circling around, Aino saw that the fog blanketed over the Ocean as well and was briefly scared that some trainer's might have drowned while swimming. Flying down low, he sighed in relief when he saw a Shiny Milotic carrying trainer's to shore. Sighing he returned to the Espion and the Absol. "No show." He said gruffly. "Even the ocean's covered. I flew everywhere but no sign of the fog thinning."

"Alright." Katu answered, standing up. "I saw the fog come from the forest, I had hoped it would at least thin out near to the ocean." She was getting frustrated. Fogs shouldn't last this long, and if this kept up, she didn't want to know what would happen to the trainers. They would need to eat and drink soon, after all. "Do you think this fog will be gone soon?" She thought of the daycare man. He had a lot of Pokemon with him, and most of them didn't know how to survive without a human's help. Even if she didn't want to admit it, their two species were tied together closely.

"if it won't, I'll blow it away." He snarled, growing frustrated at the situation. His moveset wasn't meant for battle but if only he could mega evolve then he could blow away the fog easy peasy. Unfortunately his trainer was out cold so that wouldn't be an option

"This fog isn't natural. I saw it coming, but I think only a human could be putting these humans to sleep..." Tenshi trailed off, thinking

(@Tsukoyomi: Your other character is at the beach, right?)

Katu shrugged. "Were there any trainers at the beach? They might be in trouble if the fog put them to sleep while they were swimming, and I don't think that mermaid cares all that much about the humans around her."

Yup))

Debating whether or not to tell them that he saw another Pokemon already carrying people out of the water, Aino simply shrugged. "I saw some." He settled for. "Didn't see any in the water though."

(Righto, let's pick them up.)

"Right, I'll be going there then." She decided. Even without drowning, she wouldn't appreciate being left in the sun for eight hours. Besides, didn't humans get sunburnt if they were in the sun for too long? She turned to her present company. "I don't suppose you want to come with me?" It seemed like the right thing to say, even if Katu wasn't exactly sure she wanted the company.

Turning his head away, Aino huffed. "I'll look for a way out, thank you very much." He said haughtily. "The sooner they found how to remove the fog the better. "I suppose we'll be in touch however. It seems better to work together. Despite how much I loathe the idea." He mumbled the last sentence into his cloud like feathers.

Katu resisted the urge to snort and laugh at the Altaria's behaviour. It really was quite funny. "Alright, best of luck to you, then. Please do remember us if you find an end to this impossible fog."

She stood up, nodded politely to the Absol, and made her way through the neighbourhood. The streets had been cleared of sleeping people, a few concerned pokemon flitting about. She looked back, mainly to see if the others would follow her.

True to his word, Aino took off with his trainer still on his back. He made his way to the forest to see if he could find the source of the fog

Albafica sighed, another human dangling limply from his form. Gently swimming to shore the Milotic deposited the human and a very concerned Starly twittered around it's trainer. Not wanting to intrude, he slipped back under the waves to see if there were any more humans

Hunter frowned as he approached the town. Something was off. He strained to see through the fog, trying to figure out what it was. A few Pokémon milled about aimlessly. How strange. It didn't take him long to notice the lack of humans about. When he did glimpse a fe, they were out cold on the ground. The trainer's residence loomed up to his left, looking somewhat intimidating in the fog. He decided to head towards the fountain in the town square to see if there was anyone there.

Blaze popped up his head from behind the bush, seeing a Lucario enter the town. The seemed more than a little lost, and unnerved by what was happening. He was headed towards the fountain - right where Blaze had dropped his trainer! Blaze darted to the fountain, standing in a protective stance in front of the park bench. There wasn't much he could do against a Lucario, but for his trainer, he would try his best!

Hunter tilted his head and arched an eyebrow as the Pokémon stepped out in front of him. "Calm down." He said. "Do you know what's going on?" he asked, looking around the square. There wasn't really a lot to see. The fog was messing with his perception. He kept imagining figures in it, putting him a bit on edge.

Blaze shook his head, sitting down. "No, sorry. A fog came in and everyone fell asleep. I put my trainer on the bench so he would be more comfortable. I don't know where the other trainers are though."

Just as he said that, and Espeon walked past him. She turned to look at them quite suddenly - surprise was written all over her features.

"Aren't you that Fennekin I fought on your way here?" She asked, confused. She looked up at the trainer he guarded, her mood instantly souring even further. "Yeah, you are. Sorry I had to beat you up so much-"

"I know! You're so cool!" Blaze gushed. "The way you used Psychic to lift stuff and block my attacks is amazing! And - and- you fight really nice! Where's your trainer, I bet they'd like it if they met mine-"

"I think you should wake him up first, huh?" Katu suggested. She didn't like the Fennekin's trainer already. Honestly, pitting a young Fennekin against an Espeon you randomly found on the streets?

"The fog put everyone to sleep, you say?" Hunter muttered to himself, kneeling by the trainer on the bench to better observe them. He looked at the newcomer and straightened up, crossing his arms, listening to the exchange in silence. In the end, he decided he knew who he wanted to talk to.

"Is it like this everywhere?" He asked the Espeon.

"Yes. An Altaria flew around and confirmed this. The fog extends from the coast and deep into the forest. No one I've talked to so far seems to know what is going on nor where the fog came from. I noticed it appeared from the direction of the forest, but it seems to stretch beyond that and into the travelling routes trainers use." Katu explained.

"What, really?" Blaze asked. "Sheesh. That's so scary! I hope whatever made this fog gets beaten!" He looked to his trainer. "He's going to wake up after the fog leaves, right?"

Hunter looked at the Fennekin. "We'll find out, won't we?" He turned back to the Espeon, but kept his eyes on the fog. "How long has it been? And are only humans going to sleep? No Pokémon?"

He realised too late that he was being a bit interrogatory. "I'm not really from around here." He muttered, still scanning the fog.

Tenshi shrugged and followed Katu, if no humans were around, she would have nothing to eat. Not to mention she still relied heavily on the pokemon center to heal injuries. She didn't care much for the altaria, but she was glad to see at least one pokemon who cared enough to work together.

"A few hours, by now. Although I'm not entirely sure, I slept through some of it. Only humans have been affected." Katu turned to look at the Absol. "Do you know when this whole mess started? I was asleep."

"Oh! A bit over an hour! It was almost time for the center!" Blaze offered. "Right? Right?"

((Also we need to go to the beach sooner or later cause one character is still missing lmao.)).

"It must have happened sooner by the neighborhood, so, if we want a source, we should look there." Tenshi flicked her horn in the direction.
