Hunter slowly opened his eyes and then took a few seconds to replay what had been said in his head. The Lucario shrugged. "If everyone is up to it, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing if we can do something." he said.

"Ugh, it doesn't matter anyway." Tenshi didn't stop walking as she spoke to Blaze. "We don't have time for elderly brats right now. We don't need them, because fortunately for us, I have a plan. But, going back to those little rooms," She turned her head to Blaze "ain't gonna cut it."

Blaze frowned. "What do you mean? Do you want to break out now?"

A bell signalled the end of their playtime, and Blaze frowned. "I think we have to go back now."

The trainers around the room began collecting the various Pokemon who were captives there. Whenever a Pokemon resisted, they were either knocked out or forcibly returned into their Pokeball.

Justine approached them, Pokeball in hand. Her partner trailed behind her. "Hey Absol. We're gonna bring you back now."

"No." She whispered to Blaze. "We don't have to escape. But we either don't don't go to our rooms today or tomorrow. I guess we only have one choice. I'll talk to you at playtime tomorrow." She knew they would have no choice today, and perhaps it was better that way, after all, the feneken was young. Maybe trying to pull him into her whole capture plan was a bad idea, he had no experience and would probably slow her down. But she needed to keep track of him, and with him right next to her during the battle, she had felt she had no choice.

"Oh, okay!" Blaze answered. "Bye, then!"

He padded off to a waiting human, whose partner had End in his arms. They exchanged brief eye contact, End giving Blaze an eyeroll.

"Ah don't understand why ye insist on talkin to the Absol. They're bringers of bed luch, yeh know."

Blaze hesitated, remembering the way the Absol had been mean to him. "I guess it's just because we got captured together." Blaze answered. End didn't seem particularly approving of her. Although he got along well with Blaze.

Tenshi turned to Justine and willingly followed her. Thinking fast, she looked around for places to hide in the play yard and spotted a plastic rock. She smiled, that would do.

Justine recalled the Absol as they reached the exit to the greenhouse, hoping that she wouldn't fight the guard.

Blaze and End were brought back to their rooms. The food had been refilled and two fresh berries laid next to the two trays.

"Oh, Nomel! My favourite!" Blaze squealed, jumping off of the guard's hold and bolting to scarf down one of the treats. End chucked. "Yeh can have both, kiddo."

"Really? Thanks, End!" Blaze ate the other berry before he had the chance to change his mind.

As Tenshi sat in her room, she thought over her plan. Blaze would certainly be a problem, he was so energetic and not really interested in helping her. But she would have to put him in line, or leave him here. Leaving him here was definitely an option, but only as a last resort, if possible. As much as she appeared to loath others on the outside, she really did care, though she wasn't always the best with first impressions. "Not escaping any time soon, but tomorrow I will have my next clue." She muttered

"It's late." Hunter observed. "If I was a human who wanted to snoop around without being seen, this is when I would choose to do so." He told Katu. "And it's not as if we're doing much besides." The Lucario shrugged. "If you want to remain here, please, feel free to do so. I think I'm going to go have a look around."

Tenshi padded over to her food bowl and went to sleep for the night. There wasn't much she could do now. She'd just have to hope all went well in the morning.

Katu shrugged. She curled into herself at the foot of the fountain, not entirely sure she could sleep in the water and not drowm, despite how calming it would have been.

Blaze settled down to sleep, too. The human guards outside had just rotated shits. He knew, because of how loud it was, and because for a few moments the human's silhouettes had disappeared entirely.

Tenshi had a dreamless sleep. In the blackness she wondered where Katu and her group were. These thoughts faded gradually as she fell into a deeper sleep.

((Timeskip here: it is now morning.))

Katu woke up still sore. The ground was hard and rough, and her lightly colored pelt was covered in dirt. She briefly debated jumping into the fountain, but she didn't want to dirty the water that Albafica was swimming in.

Blaze was woke up by a bell. End was already awake, eating her share of breakfast. The punching bag in the corner swung from side to side, chains creaking.

Tenshi woke up to the smell of food. She was starting to get used to living here, though she didn't like it. But she knew she wasn't just another captive. She knew what she was doing. She waited for playtime to come around again.

Hunter had walked around town and found nothing of note. After a while, he had decided to return to the fountain for the night. He'd settled down into a deep meditation, not entirely asleep but not quite awake, to regain his strength. Now, with the coming of morning, he switched to a lighter meditation, his ears flickering for any sound, but didn't yet open his eyes. His equivalent of "five more minutes".

Katu rolled around, getting more dirt on her pelt. It was practically pointless now to try and keep it clean, her colouring was just too pale.

She looked around for the berry bag, and drank up some of the milk. She felt hungry and thirsty in equal measures.

Blaze and End enjoyed their breakfast.

"We've got a few more hours before they let us out for playtime." End told Blaze. "Might as well got some exercise done.".

"Oh." Blaze said, shifting uncomfortably on his feet. "Uh... Sure."

Dr. Halsey got out of her lab, a steaming cup of coffee in one hand. She turned to the guard by her door - Edwards, if she remembered

"Edward, retrieve the Absol for me in a Pokeball."

"Right away ma'am." Edward replied, relaying the instructions through his comms device.

A trainer approached the cell that held Tenshi, and Justine and her held a quick conversation. Justine nodded, and handed the empty Pokeball to the new trainer. He entered the cell, and recalled the Absol, bringing her to the lab. Tenshi was released into a small, heavy-duty cage.

Hunter batted his ears and frowned at the noise Katu was making. Eventually, he sighed and opened his eyes. "Good morning." He said and then looked around at the fog. "If you'll excuse the massive lie I just uttered. Toss a berry here, then." He grunted, getting up and stretching with a sigh.

"We're out." Katu replied after checking the bag again. She dryly levitating the bag and showing its empty depths to Hunter. It didn't surprise her, she barely got enough for a snack and they had some pretty big Pokemon in the group. "Want to get some before before the other two wakes up?"

"Yeah, give it here. I'll go get them." He said, taking the bag. He stared into the bag for a moment, glanced at the other two Pokémon sleeping and set off towards the mall. He'd eat there and bring back as much as he could for the others. He supposed he should also get them something to drink.

Albafica stirred slightly, uncoiling himself to sit upright. Glancing about he saw Aino off to the side and Katsu already up. He was about to ask where Hunter was before deciding against it. It wasn't his place to ask. Hovering above the ground he made his way to check on the humans.

Still asleep, Aino peeked an eye open to observe everyone as they went about their own tasks. He didn't want to get up just yet as he wanted to give Hunter some time to return before waking up properly.
