A bell signalled the end of their playtime, and Blaze frowned. "I think we have to go back now."
The trainers around the room began collecting the various Pokemon who were captives there. Whenever a Pokemon resisted, they were either knocked out or forcibly returned into their Pokeball.
Justine approached them, Pokeball in hand. Her partner trailed behind her. "Hey Absol. We're gonna bring you back now."

He padded off to a waiting human, whose partner had End in his arms. They exchanged brief eye contact, End giving Blaze an eyeroll.
"Ah don't understand why ye insist on talkin to the Absol. They're bringers of bed luch, yeh know."
Blaze hesitated, remembering the way the Absol had been mean to him. "I guess it's just because we got captured together." Blaze answered. End didn't seem particularly approving of her. Although he got along well with Blaze.

Blaze and End were brought back to their rooms. The food had been refilled and two fresh berries laid next to the two trays.
"Oh, Nomel! My favourite!" Blaze squealed, jumping off of the guard's hold and bolting to scarf down one of the treats. End chucked. "Yeh can have both, kiddo."
"Really? Thanks, End!" Blaze ate the other berry before he had the chance to change his mind.

Blaze settled down to sleep, too. The human guards outside had just rotated shits. He knew, because of how loud it was, and because for a few moments the human's silhouettes had disappeared entirely.

Katu woke up still sore. The ground was hard and rough, and her lightly colored pelt was covered in dirt. She briefly debated jumping into the fountain, but she didn't want to dirty the water that Albafica was swimming in.
Blaze was woke up by a bell. End was already awake, eating her share of breakfast. The punching bag in the corner swung from side to side, chains creaking.

She looked around for the berry bag, and drank up some of the milk. She felt hungry and thirsty in equal measures.
Blaze and End enjoyed their breakfast.
"We've got a few more hours before they let us out for playtime." End told Blaze. "Might as well got some exercise done.".
"Oh." Blaze said, shifting uncomfortably on his feet. "Uh... Sure."
Dr. Halsey got out of her lab, a steaming cup of coffee in one hand. She turned to the guard by her door - Edwards, if she remembered
"Edward, retrieve the Absol for me in a Pokeball."
"Right away ma'am." Edward replied, relaying the instructions through his comms device.
A trainer approached the cell that held Tenshi, and Justine and her held a quick conversation. Justine nodded, and handed the empty Pokeball to the new trainer. He entered the cell, and recalled the Absol, bringing her to the lab. Tenshi was released into a small, heavy-duty cage.

Still asleep, Aino peeked an eye open to observe everyone as they went about their own tasks. He didn't want to get up just yet as he wanted to give Hunter some time to return before waking up properly.
