Once Archion had left the room, Spiri shoved her shoulder as hard as she could, only to shriek at the pain. She wished she had the strength to push harder, but after all the emotional stress she'd been through, she found herself giving up quickly.

Comfortable for once, Flick fell asleep next to the steady dripping of water from a stalagmite to a small pool.

"Ouch!" Spiri cried. Though she was relieved her wing was in place, she wasn't happy about the statement about the brainwash. So, Lia and Archion were either lying, or they didn't know...Come to think of it, why does Kuma know?

Winter held his chin high as a sign of pride and confidence. He had no fear in him. "You won't—that's true. I just hope when Karma bites you in the butt, you don't complain about it. I'll see you in hell after the rest of my friends have their way with you. And maybe someday you'll look back on it, and think differently.Ciao~" He winked as the guards came to take him away. I wonder what the labs will hold. But nevertheless, I will not break.

Winter headed down to the labs without showing any sort of emotion, his boots making no sound on the ground. He just had to wait. For sometimes a well-placed pawn is stronger than the king. Winter rested his head on the cool glass, breathing deeply. If he panicked now, whatever they had in store for him would only hurt worse. So to distract himself, he played Lugia's song in his head. The soothing melody made him more confident that he would be going home soon.
