I feel it is unfair when a player puts a up 20 or so trades of the same thing and spams the gts i think we should make it so its limited and or timed to 5 -10 trades only up at a time

If the trades get no offers and are up for a long time, say a month, you can't put any other trades up. It'll make the game less enjoyable and more of a chore to get the required item/pokemon you want or dollars you need.

If you mean 1 of the same item in 10 different trades then I do agree with that.

I agree with Milky Way. And I can see where Sly is coming from, i personally find it to be more of a chore to search through gts when people spam it. I will honestly admit that I no longer search through gts. I will post what I have for trade and state what I'm looking for, but I won't scroll through it looking for things I need anymore because it's become a pain. I am fully behind this suggestion! :)

Honestly no support.

1) If you're searching for a certain item/Pokemon, it's incredibly easy to literally search up that item/Pokemon and therefore have the gts only show you those trades.

2) Its much easier to sell, say, 20 dragon gems in 20 different trades, each asking for 50k pd than it is to sell 20 dragon gems in one trade asking for 1million pd. When you sell your stock in a large amounts, you then have to get a pm with someone only wanting one or two, and then have to take down your trade, set up a private trade, and then set up your original public trade all over again. Asking for a smaller amount in many different trades makes it more likely to get interest from different people who have what you want to buy/trade.

3) The gts shows 20 trades at a time- it's really not difficult to scroll past trades if you're just looking through, which is what anyone is doing if you aren't looking for something specific.

Conclusion- Limiting the amount of trades people can have would severely nerf the gts and I can promise that doing that would make more people unhappy than pleased. Not only that, but it's completely unesseccary to limit people in that regard.

I support this because there are users that like to just search through the GTS. I usually just look at all the trades to see if I find something interesting and want to buy. I didn't really use the search feature to find the things I want to buy. I usually want to buy Ultra Saddles for my future hunt but people seem to still overprice them, so I don't really go on the GTS for Ultra Saddles. But seeing that there are users that like to spam the GTS with the same trade over and over, having to go through five pages just to find actual trades gets annoying fast. Now I won't complain if it's like 5 of the same trades posted in the GTS, but when it takes up over three pages in the GTS, people are bound to get annoyed. Sure, its easier to sell things like that instead of putting up one big trade and someone messaging them about wanting to buy one or two items and they have to put down the trade and put it back up again, but its just... well, irritating. Not everyone uses the search feature to look for the items or Pokemon they want, some of us actually like to look at any trades that interests us. Plus, it pushes down other trades too (although I don't think this is a problem).

Plus, I don't think it'll be a problem if trades are limited to 5-10. I mean, it'll be similar to the Auction House, and I never saw anyone complain about that.

Overall, I agree with Milky Way.

However, if someone offers one million PD asking for something with the offer to PP to split, I am not going to bother. It is a hassle for them, and I hate messaging people about trades.
On the other hand, if someone offers 10,000 PD in several trades asking for a certain amount of gems that can be mixed offers, I am more willing to offer.
Also, a while back someone put up several trades with a Miltank and a Tauros. I wanted a Miltank with a specific Nature, so I slowly looked through each individual trade. Besides the point, the trade didn't happen.
Still, it is incredibly frustrating to look though several pages of someone offering the same thing over and over again. It is not even just when I am scrolling through all of the trades, it happens when I look for something specific too. And I would consider it to be spam.
I rarely put up trades in the GTS, so the limit would not affect me, personally.
I do know that limits are frustrating (even for me), and it would give people something to complain about.

If trades were limited, I think they should be limited from 15-20, not 5-10. However, I still don't agree with limiting them. My trades are pushed back all the time, but I still get offers because I'm putting up what people want to buy. When I browse the gts, I go more than 2 or 3 pages in to see if something catches my interest. It's called simply skimming over the trades I don't find interest is.
There's so many people on this game that limiting the gts is hardly going to do anything to help the spam. I skim the gts often, and have rarely ever seen the issue of people spamming more than 10-15 of the same trade. Even then, I can't stress enough how [i]easy[i] is it to scroll past them.

Im also sometimes annoyed by those "spam"-trades especially when they take multiple pages.
Also we cant search for pd/nuggets and im often looking for trades that offer currency for certain stuff.

Since there are users who leave trades up for multiple days or even longer they shouldnt be limited, since its not really spam.

Id suggest maybe not to put an overall limit but a limit of trades per hour(only publuc trades of course) of maybe 10? That way no user could take up multiple pages thst easily, but still could have a lit of trades up at the same time.

@AcryluCatUwU: would that be a solution you could agree with?
Since you always have the option to add a little text like "palpad/pm for larger amounts" when selling a lot of items :)
