"Whew! Finally made it! That was a long swim, but I'm here at the Air Continent!" yelled out a high-pitched voice. This voice belonged to a Shiny Dratini, who had traveled all the way from her home to become a member of the newly-established Cosmic Guild, ran by a Golurk, a Grumpig, and a Spinda. "Now, where exactly is this Guild?" She reckoned that it wasn't near the edges of the continent, so she began searching around for anything that would help her find it.

Soul was sitting in the shadows, waiting for someone to pass who wouldn’t miss a few items. She saw the Shiny Dratini pass, but thought nothing of it. This will be a good day.......

"Oi, Momo. Mind helping me figure out where the heck we're supposed to be headin'? I can't make heads or tales about what these little symbols mean..." A rather frustrated looking Quilava grumbled out to her companion, a cute, tired looking Buneary, as the two relaxed at the side of a well-worn path. The two decided to take a break in order to check the map they'd brought along, but unfortunately for the duo, one had difficulties reading, and the other had a terrible sense of direction. "....Uhm...Gotta go north. I think..." came an extremely quiet reply, which was quickly followed by, "Oh! So we're probably somewhere in this forest-y area right? Or....are we in this forest....."

A phione has swum all the way to the air continent, and is now rising up to see the whole thing.
This phione blended in pretty well with the sky, not to mention he'll be far away and is also kinda small already, so very few pokemon would be able to see the phione when they reached the high place.
But phiones can't go up into the clouds in <5 seconds, so it takes a while.

"Uhh... Oh! That looks like a forest! I have to go north from a forest, right?" The Dratini started heading in the forest's direction, not very confident in her decision.

The Phione finally made it high enough to see the whole continent.
And it was a beaut.
But now to look for the guild.
And, on the way, NOT severely underestimate the coriolis effect on the way back down.
That'll be the hardest part.

A Riolu was walking along a path. Letting it take it where ever it led.
The riolu was looking for the guild. Wanting to become part of a rescue team. After being rescued by a member of a rescue team.

(Hmm scarf.)

A beautiful and yet tiny espurr walked elegantly down the road. She spotted the Riolu and bounced over to him, "Hello, um do you know where the rescue guild is?"

(oops sorry for dying)

Arriving at the forest, the Dratini's confusion boosted from about a 5 to a 7. She had completely lost her sense of direction nearly as soon as she entered, especially since she couldn't see the Sun that well. "Am I even heading north?" Clair kept on slithering, beginning to give up.

The phione sees a building that looks guild-y enough.
Now to get down there and-
Coriolis effect's pushing the phione away from the guild. Poor phione is being pestered by effects that take a while to master.
Well then, plan B: Slowly but surely descend down towards the guild, correcting for the Coriolis effect on the way.

(i need to stop dying, but I have fanfiction to work on. hm.)

The trees eventually began to break as Clair kept on, revealing a gorgeous building. She squeaked happily, beginning to charge forward at a faster speed. "I've finally found it! The Cosmic Guild! Yeeeeah!" She wound up screaming the victorious cry, but she didn't mind. She just kept on going forward.

aaand... CRASH.
A Phione just randomly fell down near the guild like some kind of soccerball-sized meteor.
The one moment the Phione learns how to handle the coriolis effect is the one moment they forget how to slow down.
And they bounce back up after landing, too.
