By this people will not even have to check price check that often, and Riako can just add the price of any new item/pokemon added for an event/anything.

They will just be a guide like the price check
It will not be like only offers with lower value will not be able to be accepted, it will just be a normal guide. It will help users like me who believes the price check and uses price check for each and every trade. It will even help newbies not to get cheated for prices as most of them don't get good starter friends who can link them the price check thread.
It is upon the user, if he wants to accept or not. Though, if you'll don't need it, fine, but if it would be able to be implemented, I would be very pleased.

As stated by Darkmount, the price check thread is merely meant to be a suggestive guide. If implemented into the GTS, it would only confuse newer users into believing that those prices are the ones that everyone follows. After all, there's a reason why the price check thread is in the 'discussion' forum rather than the 'guides' subforum.
Furthermore, I'm not sure how that would even be implemented? Would the numbers be manually entered by Riako? If so, that would be he'd have to change them each time price check is edited, which, in my opinion, would only create unnecessary delays in updating prices.
Overall, I just don't think price check prices should be implemented officially into the site.

I agree with you about the problem with the Newbies getting ripped off, even by veteran players. The only way to avoid is to learn about values by studying the market, asking in the forums or taking advise from trustworthy players before selling or buying something.
also some users overpay if they search for something badly but that doesn't mean it is worth that much generally. in auctionhouse some pokemon often sell for way less than they are worth. i think its not possible to keep record of the prices on here...

There's literally no set prices for anything because, as others have said, they rise and fall depending on what's in demand and some other factors such as how many people are shiny hunting it.
Pokemon that are actively shiny hunted by a wide audience of players often have a lower price for the normal variation of them because of how common they are, as well as a lower shiny price (e.g. magikarp)
and with items, as mentioned before, it depends on supply & demand. If more people want it, but it's a rare item, it's worth more.
Also the uses of the item since most players would rather not deal with items that are tedious to get or to use so their price drops quicker.
