"...Yeah. You're probably right. Puh. Seems as though the pokemon
are the optimistic ones this time around," Mira laughed, and rubbed
Cyndaquil's head.
Tiger snickered and stayed in the bush while he was dizzy.
"Honestly you aren't the cause. I'm just a lost cause. I always
find some unique and insane way of getting myself killed" he said
joking gently. He watched as a few clouds glided across the sky,
and smiled slightly.

"I've got to stay optimistic I mean look at who my trainer is.
It's like his job to die on a daily basis" Cyndaquil laughed
and smiled kindly. He then saw an apple on a tree and went to use a
Flamethrower only for smoke to come out of his mouth. He sighed and
used a swift knocking the apple to the ground. He grabbed it and
rolled it over to Mira.
Mira accepted the apple with a chuckle and nodded a thanks to
Cyndaquil. She frowned slightly. "I'm sure that Tiger will teach
you flamethrower again. That's your thing," She assured him,
taking a bite of the apple.
Cyndaquil nodded but looked slightly unconvinced "yeah though
I'm not too sure. After all Tiger doesn't like to scare anyone as
badly as he scared Mel..." he said quietly.
(Happy new year! Mel and Z had a bit of a fight, and now they're
making up in the forest. Tiger is with them. Mira and Cyndaquil are
away from everyone else, just kind of talking)
Mira blinked sympathetically. "Mel and Z just had a bad experience.
Like..." She thought for a moment. "Like how Tiger was afraid of
returning to Johto because he might be persecuted. He returned. Mel
and Z will have a similar experience."
Cyndaquil nodded and remembered how Tiger seemed when he returned
to Johto from Alola. "Yeah I just hope it's sooner than
later" the fire Pokémon said with a concerned sigh. "Is
there any way we can help them get over their fears?" he asked
gently.

After a few moments, Tiger sat up, and shook his head completely
clear. He shakily got to his feet, needing to use the tree for
support at first. "So should we head back?" He asked Z and Mel
quietly.
"No! I'm serious! A fiery show of lights--all within a safe
distance--with some fire types," She cut off Toka. "And it'd be a
welcome to Johto, all right--we could do it during the festival."
Victor noticed Mira and Cyndaquil talking. “Did anyone say
fireworks and fire types? I’ve got lots of them at the lab.” He
said, “If you don’t mind me interrupting...”
Tiger nodded and glanced at Mel for a moment. He then went over to
Mel and quickly gave her a hug. "Everything will be alright." He
said gently before letting go and following Riu to where Cyndaquil
and Mira were.

"Well at the festival they make a small replica of the brass
tower, now known as the burnt tower, and they do light it on fire.
A Cyndaquil, and Totodile from the lab help with the effects so it
might work..?" he said gently.
"Definitely," Mira smirked at both Cyndaquil and Victor. "...I
think we could pull this off. I can get some fireworks from Liam,
and..." She thought for a moment, the smile growing bigger. "If you
think it could work, Cyndaquil, I say we give it a shot."
“If anyone wants any more fire types contact me... I have Houndoom,
Typhlosion, Infernape, Chandelure, Pyroar and Incineroar among
others. But I feel they’ll be more than enough.”
Jamie, Robert, and Ro were sitting along the route. They had
watched the argument between Mel and Z. Jamie was initially going
to intervene slightly but Ro had stopped him and dragged him and
Robert further along the route stating that the girls would figure
it out on their own.
Tiger nodded in response and yawned. "We can head back to New Bark
and you can rest at my place if you want" he said kindly, and
stretched. "I can leave Raikou with Elm so that he doesn't bother
you" he said with a yawn and continued to walk to the others.

"Hmm...maybe we can do this after the festival?" he
suggested kindly.
