Tiger looked over to Mel and smiled slightly. "We'll head back to New Bark. The farm will be there for another time, and if we go there now it'll be late when we get back" he said kindly and walked into the clearing where Cyndaquil and Mira were. Cyndaquil looked at Mel wearily and jumped back into Tiger's backpack.

"I'm fine with any arrangement as long as we have lots of Fire." Victor said, and videocalled Elm's lab. The phone was picked up by a shiny Incineroar.
"Sirius, call all your fire type buds. We need to do a head count." Victor said. Soon, Sirius, a Flareon, Magmar, Torchic, Infernape, Chandelure, Pyroar and an Alolan Marowak struggled to take up screen space with Sirius.

"So... including Blaze and Houndoom I have ten fire types... Oh and Burst can do a fireworks show."

“The day after sounds better,” Mira agreed witb Cyndaquil just before they came back. “We’ll work all of it out later.”

“Back to New Bark? Alright. Nice to see you guys aren’t dead,” She greeted.

"Looks like your friends are back." Ro mused from where she was resting against Robert.

"So it does. Think we are continuing on or going back?" Robert mused.

"More than likely back since it seems like we would get back quite late if we continued on." Jamie answered.

"True." Ro and Robert mused before getting up from where they were sitting.

"knowing me I'm surprised I'm not dead" Tiger mused jokingly and watched as Cyndaquil hid from Mel. He frowned and bit back a sigh, I hope this gets worked out soon...but what about tomorrow? The festival has the fake brass tower go aflame. he thought to himself slightly troubled. I'll warn Mel about it on the way back he decided with a sigh. "Yeah we're heading back to New Bark Town" he said kindly and nodded.

Victor disconnected the video call after the fire types went back to their assigned places in the lab. "Wait, does Tiger have a will yet? I think he needs one if he goes joy-dying once per week."

Tiger flinched and glared at Victor "um...no I don't have a will, and I don't enjoy almost dying on a daily basis" he said quietly and looked at the ground in a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance.

Tiger nodded and stretched. "The only thing that happened over the year in New Bark Town, other than Raikou being my 'adopted son'" he began and air quoted adopted son. "Is that Rinku has a daughter now." He said thinking partially to himself.

"What? What do you mean?" Victor asked, and was immediately reminded of Flare advice when Tiger and Mel had started 'dating': Disturbing a couple is like disturbing two Charizard at the daycare! Would you want to do that? and visibly flinched at the memory.

The trio walked towards the group just in time to hear Mira say she had something to add on to what she had done over the year. Robert let a mischievous grin settle on his face before he walked over to Mira and playfully yet gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Oh my dear unofficial sister, you know if you happened to have gained a significant other Jamie and I have full right to threaten this said person right?" He teasingly mused to her.

"Don't drag me into this, please." Jamie muttered from his spot before tilting his head slightly as he wondered who Rinku was. Geez now that I think about it, I don't think Robert and myself know a lot about our friends. He thought to himself.

Tiger tipped his head to the side "do you mean me having a legendary Pokemon, as an adopted son, or my Decidueye being a father?" He asked curiously, and crossed his arms. He glanced at Mel for a second before looking back over to Victor. Cyndaquil was still hiding in his backpack.

"Your Decidueye being a father. Is it some adopted daughter or did you send him to the daycare?" Victor asked. "At this point I'm pretty used to seeing legendary Pokemon acting like parents or spoiled children."

Tiger blinked "err... Pokémon don't need to be in the daycare to have eggs. After all there are eggs found in the wild all the time" he said kindly and nodded to a Pidgey nest in a nearby tree. The pidgeot mother was looking at the group curiously. Tiger then sighed "Rinku had his daughter with one of the Alola trainer's Decidueye, and she's in the lab now. Rinku is actually taking care of her since her mother went back to Alola with her trainer a month ago" he explained simply. "As for Raikou? He acts more like an over grown puppy than a spoiled child..."

"Don’t Let Sirius know about Rinku, he'll get jealous." Victor joked and was immediately tackled to the ground by a Shiny Incineroar, followed by an avalanche of seven other Fire types.
"We're here for the festival. Victor's Fire types." A Chandelure said.

Victor pushed Sirius off himself and looked at the fire types. "You’re here a bit too soon.."

Tiger froze up and looked at Victor. "Why are the fire types going to the festival" he asked quickly. He wasn't sure how exactly Mel would react to the seven fire type Pokémon in the area at that moment.
