"No, I was not drafted. We are the WPA--World Protection Agency.
We've been working longer than the FBI to protect not only this
country, but this world," Rylie continued. "Agents have been
disappearing rapidly for weeks. Our numbers dwindled down to two
after Hermie--the one who took over the world--raided our old base.
The two left being myself and, miraculously, the Director. Who can
win back the world with only two people?"
"Well, no one. That's why you're all here," She sighed. "...If
whoever is at the door knocks seven times, let them in, please."
Gem blinked at the door, then grabbed a small notebook from her
hoodie pocket. Taking the pencil inside the spiral of the notebook,
she began to jot down several notes relating to what Clover had
said recently.
"There are three divisions that you could be placed in. Tactical
(or more simply field agents), stealth agents, and research agents.
Each one of your will receive a code name that you'll come to
accept as something close to a second name. I'm not prohibiting you
from telling each other your real names, but it's not exactly
wise. You all know your own skills, so I'm allowing you all
to apply for your own position in the force before I assess your
strengths. Any questions?" Rylie gazed around the crowd.
Gem looked up at everyone, then looked back down. She jotted down a
few more notes into her notepad relating to what Clover had said.
After she did this, she also doodled a small little cat into the
margin of a notepad page.
(It's a hidden door, Dante, and Toshiro let you in I think)
(Toxic, third person please)
"Fun is hardly the word," Clover shrugged. "But... Sure. Think of
it that way."
She showed a clipboard with a chart. "Write down your codename and
the position you'd like on here. Real training starts tomorrow,"
Clover explained, passing it to Gem first.
"Mhm," Clover nodded. "Research develops devices to help us, runs
most of the technology around here, and hack whatever information
we might be able to find."
Gem put her notepad and pencil away, and took the clipboard. She
quickly wrote down that her agent name was Waffle, and that she
wants to be a field agent. She then passed it to Lolah, before
going back to her spot at the wall.
