Lou watched as everyone except Rylie and Lee left the living room.
"I guess I'll get ready for bed", she said, ignoring what
Lee had said before.
She stretched her legs and got up from the couch again, just to
almost bump into Andy when she was going to leave the room.
"Sorry, Andy!", she exclaimed with a surprised expression on
her face.
He squeaked and jumped away from her but immediately calmed down
after he heard her voice "As i said already- I will force ya all to
wear those collars with jingle bells or ya might as well memorize
telephone number of ambulance" He tried to keep a serious face but
his own face betrayed him and grinned on its own "And no problem, I
guess i am used to it already! Oh, I almost forgot.. I wanted to
thank ya for going along with my dare... I am also sorry i dragged
you into it. "
Lou snickered. "I actually used to wear chokers or collars until
I was 15, because of my parents", she said and shrugged.
"But that's not important".
She quickly brushed off that uncomfortable feeling of being watched
that suddenly got her, and continued on. "I'll be in my room, if
anyone needs me - just knock". And with that, she went upstairs
and into her room, all nice and calm.
But once the door was closed, she let herself fall onto the bed and
let out a silent scream into the pillow.
As Andy closed doors of his room he realized how tired he actually
is- He didn't had proper sleep in weeks because of the excitement
of actually coming here... Or was it stress? He couldn't tell. He
tried to take a nap in the airplane but that didn't worked
out..
He didn't bother to undo his hair bun but at least he was able to
change to his pajama- Which was actually Budgie Kigu with a light
blue body and white and blue, flappy wings. Childish, Maybe.
Fabolous, Unique and absolutely cute, Certainly.
Hopefully, he didn't set himself in trouble as he took his notebook
from the armchair and put on the music- Slow and Harmonic Piano,
Andy recognized it to be a collection of Ghibly covers- Not exactly
his favorite but it does the job. He made sure to set the volume
low enough so he would hear it but it wouldn't pass through the
walls to the other rooms. He didn't want to annoye his friends,
after all. The notebook could be turned off just by simply closing
it so hopefully, if Elin comes he will not wake Andy up to cut the
music... He just placed it on the floor next to the bed.
And that was the end of the day for him. He curled up under the
blanket and pulled his Plush Deer closed to the chest- He never
grew up from his Plush Phase. He doesn't even want to.
He was out before the Screen of The Notebook turned to an
underwater recording of coral reef, Multiple fishes swimming in all
directions and Manta Rays looming over them.
(That was little longer than expected but i didnt wanted to split
it in two posts soo.. Yup.)
Lee closes her book with a snap. "Keep in mind, there are classes
tomorrow. But your nightly activities are you own business, I
suppose. Goodnight, then, Rylie. I'll be seeing you in the
morning." With that, she stands and heads upstairs, closing the
door to her own room.
(I'll timeskip through the night, I guess, if it's all right?)
Rylie waved. "G'night," She shrugged. I'll get to bed too, I
guess. Bladerunner will have to wait until tomorrow. She
thought, heading up to her own room as well. Upon seeing the stack
of VHS tapes on her bed, it was almost instinctive for her to pop
Bladerunner in and fall asleep to that.
The day dawned bright and beautiful. The sunrise painted the
horizon in warm hues, and the birds sang loudly as they started
their morning activities. Lee remained in her bed, her dreams long
faded as her cycles of sleep came slowly to a close. Kace and Elin,
however, were entirely missing from their rooms. One could only
assume the dogs were with them, as they were curiously missing from
their usual morning places. The kitchen was also missing an apple,
which wasn't particularly important, but worth noting.
Aqune woke up with a jolt, She frowned when she realized she had
fallen asleep outside. She yawned and stood up. She grabbed her
flute and started to play a melody, Soon birds started flying
around her.
"Do you prefer the word snitched or tattled?" Kace asks, scrolling
through what he has of his script so far. Like every monday
morning, he's crashed on the couch in the living room, his long
legs spread out across the cushions and his computer steadily
warming his lap. His phone is also beside him, a source of reward.
Whenever he edits a noted part, he allows himself two minutes to
check social media afterwards. It works for him, anyways.
"Snitched." Elin replies from his position on the floor. One leg
lays in front of him and the other behind in what looks like an
almost effortless split. He bends at the waist, his fingers easily
touching his toes, even when they're pointed. As always, he's
wearing black leggings and a white tee, far less casual than Kace's
flannel pajama pants and paint-splattered long-sleeve shirt.
"Hm. Yes, I suppose that does sound more elegant. You speak sense,
oh wise midget." Kace smiles at the pale dancer, who barely spares
a glance in his direction. The silver-haired male isn't offended,
however, and proceeds to properly fix the sentence he'd marked
yesterday.
Rylie woke up to the end of a credit screen. "Damn," She mumbled,
rubbing her eye with one knuckle. "I thought I could stay up for
all of it."
Nevertheless, she took Bladerunner out of the VCR and put it in the
now organized stacks of VHS tapes on her bookshelf. She got dressed
and grabbed her bag, heading downstairs. "G'morning," She yawned.
"Morning!" Kace calls, double tapping his screen before turning off
his phone and scrolling down another page on his script. He frowns,
running a hand through his already messy hair. "Do you think aqua
or sea green goes better with crimson?" He inquires, glancing up at
Elin. The dancer shrugs, shifting into a middle split.
He stares at the digital representation of paper for a few more
moments. "I think aqua fits better, but sea green is more likely
her favorite color. Maybe crimson could be changed?" He mutters to
himself. Ziu, from her spot in front of the couch, lifts her head
and growls quietly, her snout pointed towards the entrance to the
house. "Oh, shush." Kace says, and she goes silent, but doesn't
rest her head back down on her paws.
"Sea green. Green is a complimentary color of red, and it will
therefore make the crimson pop," Rylie suggested, going to the
kitchen and grabbing a mug she intended to fill with coffee. She
made a motion with her thumb as if she were flipping a coin, and
made a droplet of water fly up and into her mouth. "However, if you
really want it to stand out, change the crimson to something
a bit less... Intense."
"Of course. Maybe pale red could work better." Kace muses, tapping
his keyboard a few times to change it. "Looks like I'll have to
replace you soon, Elin. Rylie's being quite helpful." He adds when
he's finished, picking up his phone and scrolling through instagram
as he thinks. Elin acknowledges the words with little more than a
slight twitch of his head to move some of his feathery, freshly
brushed hair. A few seconds later, he switches his split position
once more.
Rylie snickered. "Pleased to help. Cinematography has done wonders
for me," She shrugged, pouring a cup of coffee for herself and
grabbing a pop tart. "What're you working on, anyway?"
"I don't know. I'm thinking a short film. Although, it could just
as easily turn into another book. I'm sure my publisher would be
happy about that." Kace shrugs, flipping through filters on
snapchat. "I do a lot of early morning review sessions with Elin
when I'm in the planning phase, but usually he inputs a lot more. I
bet he's just nervous." The older boy smiles and sticks out his
tongue at Elin. The blond rolls his eyes, allowing his body to ease
seamlessly into a position with his legs straight out in front of
him. He bends over and wraps his fingers around his pointed toes
without a hitch, laying his chest almost flat against his legs.
Aqune started playing her flute a bit louder and didn’t realize
their was an open window above her from where she was sitting on
the side of the house. A bush in front of her moved and a baby fox
popped out. The fox walked over to her and jumped into her lap.
