Rylie snickered again. "I know how it feels; my consultant is a
hundred miles away and I've completely scrapped about ten ideas
because of the fact. But don't be nervous, really, since I am an
honest-to-god doofus who can do pretty things with a camera. Your
ideas are better than mine, most likely."
She glanced up, hearing a flute, but said nothing.
"Nah, he's not nervous because of you. I don't think Elin's ever
been intimidated by someone. He has a competition today, hence the
warm up that further proves he is in fact boneless." Kace sets down
his phone again. "It's the best shot he'll get for six months, but
I know he'll win gold. From there, he'll be in nationals before we
know it. I have faith."
"Oh, definitely. You seem like the nimble type. You'll do fine,"
Rylie took a sip of coffee. "But come on. How could you not
be intimidated by me?" She added, voice dripping with sarcasm.
Lou, being the living definition of "morning grouch", woke up to
the sound of her alarm. Why did she set MCR's "Mama" as alarm? She
didn't remember, but she was definitely going to change it as soon
as possible. Letting out a groan, she attempted finding her phone
on the small table next to her bed, her eyes still being closed as
Gerard Way started singing: "Mama, we all go to hell".
Finally, she grabbed something which felt like a phone, so she
picked it up and stopped her alarm. Looking at the time, she
groaned yet again and rolled to the other side of the bed, then
back and onto the floor. Once there, she forced herself to get up
and grabbed some fresh clothes from her wardrobe. A white shirt and
light blue, form-fitting jeans, as always. Today she put on a
pastel peach flower hair clip.
With slow steps she came downstairs and went straight to the
kitchen, pouring herself a glass of orange juice that she found in
the fridge and took a slice of toast, quickly eating it and then
went to the living room, wearing the expression of a zombie. "Morning", she mumbled with the glass of orange juice still
in her hand.
"Good morning." Kace says, smiling at her. A cheerful dinging comes
from his phone, and he picks it up to see what it is. "Allie will
be here in ten minutes, Elin. She says she won't wait more than two
minutes for you." He looks up at his best friend, but the blond
stays silent.
Lou looked a little confused at first, but then realized that it
was her all-time favorite day of the week; Monday.
She thought for a moment. "I don't think I have a class this
morning. Don't know about the others", she said before drinking
some of her orange juice.
The doors to the Kitchen basically flew open as Andy body slammed
them open and stumbled inside- It almost looked like he would fall
onto the floor but somehow he was able to keep his balance, Maybe
because he was flailing his arms around like a crazy.
It was quite apparent that he was still half asleep, At least he
managed to dress for the day "I didn't liked this prank, Guys!
Being 2 hours late on the first d-" His eyes widen when he seen
others just casually sitting at the table and then the realization
hits "...Eh, Good Morning. Forgiveness is Investment in Happiness,
Ya know? Can we forget about this and can somebody remind me to
change the time on my phone later?" Time Zones, Why do they
exist?
Kace is about to say something, but Elin stands up, grabbing a
black duffle bag from beside the coffee table. The taller boy
smiles, opening his arms in a 'give me a hug you adorable nerd'
way. The blond stares at him a moment, neutral expression not
shifting in the slightest, but then walks over and gives his friend
an one-armed hug. Kace places a light kiss on his cheek before he
can pull completely away, and Elin doesn't seem fazed by it at all.
"Do well, all right? And bring home some gold, 'kay?"
"'Kay," Elin replies, "I'll be back at four or five. Remember to
feed Ave." With that, he heads out towards the front of the house,
and a door closes a few seconds after he leaves.
Lou couldn't help but laugh a little at Andy. She thought this was
in fact quite amusing - allthough she knew exactly how he felt. She
felt a little sting in her chest when a memory long buried came to
her mind again, and she quickly shoved the memory away. "Good
morning anyways, Andy", she said, hoping her voice wouldn't
give up. She ended up sounding rather happy, actually, which
surprised her - but actually, she shouldn't be surprised about it
at all. "I hope you had a good sleep, despite waking up with a
shock".
In the next moment, Elin stood up. Lou looked at him as he grabbed
a bag and seemed ready to leave when Kace demanded a hug.
When Kace kissed Elin on the cheek, Lou had to hold back a squeal.
Dang, this is too cute for my heart to take.
"'Morning, Andy," Kace says, like absolutely nothing just happened.
He picks up his phone again and scrolls a little further through
instagram. Many - almost too many - of his friends were already
posting pictures and such, despite it only being 9:30 or so.
Although, many were from last night as well, and he could tell at
least a dozen of his dancer friends had been together for a sort of
'good luck' tradition. Kace remembered telling Elin he should go,
but as soon as the blond knew who already planned on going, he'd
rejected the idea.
Andys heart melted at Kaces and Elin's display- That was, in all
honesty, absolutely adorable. Soo much that even he couldn't deny
it. "Friendship Goals" It took him a moment to realize that he says
it outloud so he tries to hide it with a cough "Sleep was quite
awesome actually!" Wait, No- His voice sounded just a little too
high pitched, let's try that again "Who wouldve thunk that these
beds are actually quite comfy! I expected them just be a plank of
wood with a mattress.. Which they are kinda are if ya think about
it but that's beside the point.."
He filled his mug (Blue with a white marking and a face of budgie
which looked far too happy to be anywhere near realistic) with a
tap water. "Are ya all ready for classes? Mentally, I mean..."
"I'm totally ready. My film professor is the best, and drama is
sure to be fun this year." Kace replies, putting down his phone.
"Plus, I can't wait to see all my friends again. Alias promised to
show me pictures of France and Germany, so I can't wait.
Unfortunately, I don't have classes until tomorrow."
(Ah! Sorry, I didn't see that this had a notification-)
"I don't have any classes until this afternoon. Cinematography at
1:00, history of motion pictures at 3:00, and photography at 5:00,"
Rylie shrugged, and thought almost nothing of Kace and Elin's kiss.
Normal for me. She seemed to think.
could we maybe make a schedule. like a list of classes, who will
attend them and when. it might be pretty helpful
Lou looked up. "That sounds great! Well, I for my part feel
pretty ready for classes, I can't wait." She put her now empty
glass on the table and decided to sit down. "Anyways, Kace",
she started and looked at him. "Do you have any tips for us?
Anyone we should better not mess with or anything?"
"At least you have some time to relax.. Catch up on all Shows
before School eats you inside, Kiddo" Andy stuck his tongue out and
held his fingers in the shape of a gun while poiting at Rylie. He
also tried to mimic gun noises but it sounded like somebody was
choking a small bird, he didn't seemed to mind "And Yeah! Tips
would be great, We don't wanna make some teachers hate us on the
first day just because we reenacted some kind of vine or somethin,
Nothing specific."
"Tips would be--ARGH!" Rylie held her heart dramatically and fell
backwards onto the couch, making dramatic death noises that sounded
about as realistic as the gun noises.
