Pidgeotto looked around as the sand filled the area. The Pokemon then used a gust blowing the sand away, but Cyndaquil was nowhere to be seen. "Where did he go!" Falkner said in shock Pidgeotto looked confused as he tried to find the Pokemon. Tiger then laughed.

"Cyndaquil aerial ace" Tiger ordered. The Pokemon had managed to climb onto a pillar behind Pidgeotto and was still hiding in the darkness. He then jumped down and used an aerial ace.

"Watch out!" Falkner said in shock, but Pidgeotto was hit. The Pokemon then fainted from the force of the move.

"I think we should now go and see Tiger's battle." Victor said, going towards the gym with his Pokemon following.

"Alright." Mel agreed, standing up and stretching before following Victor out. "We can get kazoos and cheer him on." She grinned at Lucario.

"You are truly a monster." The fighting-steel type decided firmly.

Flare turned to Mel, his eyes glowing red. "Dare to try." He growled menacingly.

Victor glanced at Flare, and then went ahead of the others with a very slight smile on his face. Volt followed, preferring to keep away from his Charmeleon friend.

What's up with all the flex tape?

"Mel, could you take out a kazoo just before I Battle Falkner? I'd like Flare to get a power boost during battle. The power of anger would pretty much kill any opponents. Thanks." Victor said to Mel when Flare was at a safe enough distance, with an evil smile of his own.

"Yeah, I guess." Mel said, reaching into her backpack. "If this kill me I'm suing you." She shouted. "TAKE IT." She yelled, playing a few sounds before flinging it at Flare.

"Shes gonna die."

Flare looked at the Kazoo and stomped in anger. His Blaze ability activated, and the size of his tail flame increased drastically, and the colour of the flame changed from red to white.

"Flare, save this for the gym battle!" Victor shouted, and recalled Flare to his Pokeball to conserve the holy power of Kazoo.
"Woah... I think Flare's ability is 'Holy Power Of Kazoo' instead of Blaze. I'll have to check that with Oak." He giggled nervously. He felt sorry for Falkner since it was the gym leader who had to face Flare in all his anger.

"Bless." Mel wheezed, retrieving the kazoo and tucking it into her backpack. "Poor Falkner." She shook her head in amusement.

Victor now entered the gym, and looked at Tiger's gym battle.
Shine and Star returned in their Pokeballs since they weren’t feeling like watching. Houndour and Blaze were trying to socialise, but not with much success, since Houndour's personality resembled that of some maniac retired from the military.

Cyndaquil ran back to Tiger, and Falkner returned his final Pokemon. He then went over to the boy "congrats on winning the battle. Here's your badge" he said kindly. Tiger nodded and accepted the badge.

they just missed the whole gym battle XD

“Congrats Tiger!” Victor said, looking at the Trainer’s badge. I guess we were a bit late for Tiger’s battle...

Mel was carefully tucking the kazoo back into her backpack, muttering something about how "the kazoo gods will be displeased".

"You're insane." Lucaario says flatly, crossing his arms.

"Good luck!" Mel shouted to Victor, ignoring the aura Pokémon's comment.

Tiger walked out of the gym and headed toward the Pokemon center.

"Very well" Falkner said kindly, and grabbed a pokeball. "Though this is the last gym battle for the day"

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Roy shouted, standing in the doorway of the Gym. "Y-you know what?! Fine. I'm going to Goldenrod after this. I'll stay for the battle, then I'll leave. Good luck, Victor," he said, twirling an important looking kazoo around.
