Cooking pot upgrade/extension
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Rejected → Cooking pot upgrade/extensionone thing i've noticed is that a lot of board orders ask for a lot of items like the antidotes and soda's.
But we can only cook those 1 at a time, so what if there was an extra header (or 3) in the cooking pot for cooking batches?
for example:
this order asks for 49 antidotes, I don't have that many. so now i have to turn on the cooking pot 49 times. it's 4 clicks for 1 antidotes so it takes almost 200 clicks for all of them which is a lot of effort :P well okay not really but it can be done faster if this were to be implemented ;) (not counting waiting time, this can take up as much as 15 minutes just for the putting in the commands simply because of variations in my internet speed, but i am am aware that not everyone has this issue so i'm leaving this out ;))
but what if there were headers for batches of the items? the large portion of biscuits could be moved here as well.
example for looks:
one batch could be 10 pieces and take the same amount of ingredients but would finish a little faster (maybe 10% faster?) that way we could put the cooking pot on with more things at a time. this would also enable us to put the cauldron on at night for longer taking recipes.
Alternatively there could be an bigger pot/oven that could be bought for batches to make it an unlock item ;)
1. I do not think its very well explained. I can understand that english isn't everyone's first language but I cannot understand some sentences very clearly.
2. I think it would be too OP. There is a reason it takes so long to make these things, it's supposed to be hard- to prevent users from easily making a bunch of things. Tasks would be very easy, including the 10% Speed increase you're wanting to add.
3. Though I wont treat this as a really big reason, not many users I have met really use the berry garden. Though this depends, I wanted to give it a mention.
4. You say yourself "so it takes almost 200 clicks for all of them which is a lot of effort well okay not really but it can be done faster if this were to be implemented ;)" 200 Clicks isn't a lot, and it would be very overpowered if we made this shorter.
Maybe if this was less OP and better explained I may agree more, but for now I do not support.
The all exclusive word "OP" is quite overused to deflect the fact that a needlessly tedious/frustrating system could be improved to be better and any attempt to rectify that is automatically deemed "will be too easy" for a game.
In any game, PH is no exception, developers and players need to understand the differentiating fundamentals between what is; Easy vs Challenging vs Frustrating.
Per the roughly created image I made below, you will understand why Berry Garden and VS Seeker are the least used systems on the website: *Note that plotted points are relative to themselves and not entirely in comparison to other features, as well as subjective to my own thoughts.
Why wouldn't this be OP?
1) You have to first understand what is OP
- Being to auto-complete Bulletin Task because you have the raw berries is OP
- Buying to auto-complete Cooking Timer is OP
- Taking Berry Garden berries to your Backpack is OP
2) Increased Capacity, Bulk Batches, or Faster Cooking Times would only balance and improve a system that virtually has no purpose other than;
All of which takes longer and more frustrating than anything that PH has to offer, the sad fact is that it's not even challenging. When there are players of X years with thousands of game hours but still haven't either finished or touched the Berry Garden - that alone speaks loudly.
3) It would still be taking your materials which is also still tedious/time-consuming process even with Nuggets/Premium. Give Berry Garden Levels to scale to better features? Add Upgrade fees?
That's my own 2 cents.
