Undertale II: The Wrath of Sans. The title is a parody. Look up Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Sans would be the villain. Also, I can now freaking no-hit Undyne the Undying at the loss rate I had. The movie's plot is something like:

The monsters get to the surface, but when Papyrus is killed in a car accident, Sans slowly goes mad. At the end, Sans is killed, but at a great cost: all of the main characters are officially dead.

Cypher you are not listening to me
Canon Sans doesnt care about anything,if papyrus dies he will be sad but he will just wait until you reset
he knows you will reset
Sans would never be a villan
Just an antagonist
You clearly are blinded by fandom sans
As i said multiple times No matter what you do its out of character and style
if you ever do that then you insta take away the non bias style of undertale and Sans

'Sans being the villain' wouldn't really be any good for a story for an 'Undertale 2'
I'd say that kinda stuff should stay in aus, Undertale 2 should stick with the 100% canon versions of chara-cters.

And who's to say Undertale 2 would even be set in the future?
For all we know if there was an Undertale 2 it could be set in the time where Chara fell into the underground, you know?

If anything, that would be Undertale Zero or Undertale Beginnings. You know where Undertale came from, don't you? Earthbound. And the prequel to Earthbound is Beginnings or Zero or Mother 1 or HTHDYCI(An acronym for "How the heck do you call it). Also, the title was a pun, meant as a joke, and Sans was the only usable name for that pun.

Like i'd like, even though the 8th soul sounds like a great idea, a bit more background on the game, you know what i mean?

And how do you know? just because undertale was based off Earthbound it doesn't mean Toby Fox will follow the same naming rule, does it?

After all, Just from the game of Undertale we know he's an amazingly clever person, with all the puns and secrets.

Hmm.. I got it! Instead of the Wrath of Sans, it's the Wrath of Pun, a short story that takes place shortly before Undertale and simply about Sans and other monsters having a pun war.

Undertale II: Golden Flowers sounds like an interesting name for an undertale 2 imo

cuz i think we've worked out by now, Golden Flowers do have something 'important' rooted in the game of undertale.

Flowey, is a golden flower. When you start the game, you are on golden flowers, when undyne breaks the bridge thing, surprise surprise, you land on golden flowers

I had to re write this
My soul theory has a simple mechanic
Monsters have soul traits aswell just not as strong as humans
in my theory the more you match your soul the stronger you get
In my theory undyne has a mixed soul trait(stolen from glitchtale) of justice and determination
Which makes sense since undyne is strong on pacifist but you cant call her really determined and not much justice is surved by killing an innocent child
but in her undying form she has a reason
She is determined to kill you and save the monster kind bringing justice for killing off snowdin
explaining her sudden power burst

so if it works like that their should be an opposite counter part
so my theory also suggest that when you are not matching your trait
ex.bravery becomes a coward
the soul would weaken
so how does that fit into asgore i will explain later

now that is some hardcore theorizing that makes sense there.
