Forum-Index → Fan Clubs → Writers Club (Always Accepting Authors!)I have some cool character ideas and I want to write a story with them but I don't know what the story should be about. The characters aren't fully fleshed out either, just basic ideas.
So uh, the characters are
Firework- A fairy with fire colored wings who has a bit of an ego and speaks her own mind no matter what. Can be a bit of a bully but has a pure heart. Some kind of magic, haven't figured out that part yet.
Era- A normal human, except for the fact that destiny for some reason works its way in her favor, and no one knows why. Despite this, she is quite shy and doesn't like her secrets to be known to others.
Soul- A strange child born with all sorts of weird magic powers that come and go, no real name (he calls himself Soul anyway), and a curse to use any hatred he may have for evil purposes. Thus, he's as nice as he can possibly be to everyone, trying to avoid feeling real hate at all costs because he doesn't want to turn into a monster.
Also, just a heads up, I probably won't join many contests in this club just cuz I've never been a big contest fan.
I'm just glad I could help a little! I have no ideas for plots though. They should all try to take over the world or something :p
On another note, I'm doing a collab story with my irl friend Keira, and I'll probably out it here when it's done :3

Also, I was thinking about a Portal fanfic idea, where there's a character (I wanna call them Alex, no matter what), and they go to play Portal on their computer for the first time, no spoilers, basically they go into the game with no prior knowledge of the game, other then someone they know had recommended it to them, but when the game loads, they get transported into the game's world and basically have to beat the game to exit the game world. (Things like saving, pausing, re-spawning, and even glitches, would still things they could do, since the game's world still follows the game's programming)
I was just wondering if anyone thinks this is a good idea, and if I should try writing it? Again, this idea really just popped into my head out of nowhere, and I dunno, I was just wondering if it'd be a good idea. : /
I'd go with Eevee. I do agree with all the people saying it's overrated, but it is the most "adaptable" of pokemon, seeing as it has such a wide range of opportunities to evolve into. It even has the ability 'adaptability,' to boot!
@FF2
Sounds like a good idea! I'd add a little bit of flare to really capture attention, since there are a lot of character-gets-trapped-in-video-game books. Maybe a twist ending/misleading narrator? :o
@everyone
:D Haha, mine was the second one. <3 It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be, and I didn't even get a chance to edit it. I realized while I was writing it that I had changed tenses mid-piece, but I didn't have enough time to fix it.
I say ditto... It's literally the most adaptable Pokemon. Since it can transform into ANYTHING really...
@FF2
DUDE. I had an idea like that for a little webseries I want to do. I really like the idea, clearly, so go for it!
@Drago
It was great! And I do that all the time, so xD
@everyone
I have a few ideas for stories, if anyone wants to hear them!!

#1: Fanfiction - LOZ
So there's a period of time (seven years to be exact) between events in Ocarina of Time, so what if I wrote about everything that happened in those 7 years?
#2: Sci-Fi
So there's this boy on another planet (names TBD) and he finds Earth on his telescope... His planet is similar to Earth in the sense that they're not sure whether or not there's life beyond. But unlike Earth, they are completely convinced that they are alone because they are not nearby any other planets. So he decides to leave and try to go to Earth despite everyone telling him that there is no life there.

Title: hallo ^_^
Nickname?: Mal, malioli, ravioli, etc
Favorite Genre Of Writing?: Mostly fantasy and sometimes realistic original fiction
Other: I try to incorporate elements of steampunk, dieselpunk, etc, into my writing. I'm working on a large series right now but I also write short stories in my spare time.
@Dragon I was thinking that maybe around the end (Specifically around the time Alex - which is now what I'm calling the protagonist - enters GLaDOS's chamber, or at some point during the final battle), GLaDOS would say something about the fact that she knew that Alex wasn't supposed to be in the game's world (Or something along these lines)? I'm not sure if that idea is over-used though....
