The dragon flew through the forest,
searching for a hiding place. The best idea she could think of was
to lose her pursuers in the clouds. She sharply maneuvered upward,
moving faster when she heard shouts behind her. Suddenly she
smacked into something solid.
Finally, she silently cheered.
The dragon tugged off the crystal on her neck a placed it in an indent within the cloud, a piece of dragon technology that with the crystal, could teleport someone to another place with a teleportation cloud. The crystal glowed blue and a portal opened inside the cloud. The dragon looked back one last time.
"Coralline," she whispered. "You've changed so much."
The dragon grabbed her crystal and leaped through the portal into another world.
She flew through the other side of the portal and landed in a grassy clearing. The dragon felt a shudder. She pulled a large egg out of a harness like contraption, which shook like an earthquake.
She set it down when it began to crack. Lines swarmed the egg, until the top burst.
A little girl with brunette hair popped her head out of the top. She had small wings attached to her back that were black lined with blue.
After a moment the dragon realized the wings were slowly swirling with red and the ground was smoking.
Finally, she silently cheered.

I'm actually working on something right about now, and I've already written over 1000 words, doing nothing but world building >.<
I'm planning on joining Bokuroo week [April], but apparently I can't just write a one-shot floating around in some unknown universe, so I'm setting a world where these prompts can all take place.
I don't know if anyone would be interested in the final product?
@fluttershyfan2 - Those look really good :o Maybe spend a little more time/words on the environment? I know AoT, but I can imagine people who don't, might be a bit lost on the setting.
@FawnstarWarriors - I love dragons. ♥ It feels a little like some of those sentences are too short and could perfectly be taken together into one long sentence, but maybe that's just reflecting my (bad) habit of writing sentences that never end ^^'

Title: My first ever Story
I don't really know if this counts as "dealing" with lack of motivation, but whenever I wanted to write and had ideas, but couldn't quite get motivated enough, I'd just type words that would fit, so I could keep my fingers moving.
Those words never made it into the final version, but it gave me the sense that I was still working on the story, which caused me to become motivated by seeing the words appear.

Literally just go on a walk. I know it sounds stupid, but it's surprisingly effective. Put on some of your favorite music, or maybe just hum/sing to yourself and look at tue word around you. Pick up on details, notice the way others move as they walk or how the sidewalk changes colors subtly or watch the shadows shift with the wind. After, throw every tiny detail you remember onto a list while keeping the bullets one to five words long. Find a way to incorporate and connect some of those details in your story, and let the inspiration come to you.
Honestly, I'm certain this is just a "me thing" and involves my obsession with creating worlds in perfect descriptive detail, but who knows. Maybe it can actually help someone?

Prologue Season Episode 2
Episode starts black, birds chirping, fades into B-Roll of a quiet forest
VO Wesley: Two months, sounds like a lot, but in some cases, it was the quickest time to ever pass in my life. We all knew the warnings, some took action, my brother and I, we just laid back.
Shot of a small shack behind a treeline, Chester walking inside with a bag.
VO Wesley: That’s not me. That’s my brother, Cody. Codename Chester.
Shot of Wesley lounging in a corner, seemingly napping.(Freeze Frame)
VO Wesley: Now that, that’s me. Yeah, I don’t look like I do much, but that’s just the fun in it all. My name Is Wesley, codename Weaz.
Shots from around the forest, piles of branches scattered.
VO Wesley: Chester and I always lingered in these woods from spring to fall, sure there were houses to stay in, but we liked it better out here. It was peaceful, far from the casual drama of the everyday world.

I have the whole premise for the series put on a slideshow if anyone wants it please feel free to PM me! :D
Whenever I am in need of some inspiration I just go have a look at my library and those books , my inner voice that one day my own book would be in there is what inspires me and gets me going, what do you guys do?
The new way I'm doing it has better writing, characters, and more possible ideas for the story to happen.
So I guess I just try to fix where I messed up in a way that I can have more ideas for it.
I have over 50 characters, multiple of them being quite important for various storyline reasons, quite a few i've forgotten the names of (cuz.. i've been making ocs since i was 7, now my memory's good but not that good)
I kinda just put different oc info/names/etc in different places and should probably get to work on putting them all in one place.
Makes it harder that very few of my ocs have any art of them, though.
I just have trouble keeping track of all of them so they each get a chance to say something.
