No need to mention how messed up the paws are, i already know. And I know the more visible legs could be better.

I think the color's gradient on the paws is a bit intense, if you get me?? :"3
The haunches on the legs should be probably a bit biiger i think in the back :"D
And the blue on th etail could be toned down a bit? idk if you meant it to be like that

And uh... about shading... I just refuse to do it on any of my pieces. At all. Like ask my friends, i just don't add shading XD
I should probably add that each time i add a piece... oops..

gerald for kate's backstory!!
when kate was a 'lil girl he found her in his field of wheat. after that he saw 2 suspicious men walking towards him so he gestured for her to go behind him, while he gets interrogated by the men.
after that was all over, they got to know each other and treated each other like family, up until gerald died, when her life continue to spiral

flat color is a totally viable style, knock yourself out, but shading is a useful skill to have.
and there's no shame in using references! search up the animals you're drawing/your drawing is based off of. it helps a LOT with anatomy.

@Chaos: I love this character! I agree on the shading. It does look nice without it, but adding it in makes a huge difference :) And as you said, the legs are a bit strange ^^’
@straight: Oh, I love that drawing style! I’d suggest using a bit of a darker shade when drawing the facial features though, bit hard to see ^^’
