how about a forum for adult only users i mean there are adults like me who would love to rp adulty or post a picture or post words that arent geared towards children i mean i know this site is mainly geared towards children but let have some place where the adults go and play like adults

No support. Not only is the site meant to be for children, but how would we know who is an adult and who isn't? Some children can act like adults while some adults can act like children. What if a child got onto the adult part, not only can they be traumatized by adult content but could also be inpacted negatively in other ways (eg. learning swear words). There are children even under 10 on this site.

this is a children's site. there should be no adult content anywhere on a children's site. there is no way of preventing children from seeing the adult stuff.
do your "adult" things off-site. you can easily just not use bad words, and anything sexual should certainly not be on a children's website.

Why do you say this is a children's site? I've mostly talked to users that are 18+. I don't think this is the site for adult-related rp. But this isn't a site just for kids. Most people who love pokemon are older now....

This site was made to be child-friendly - not for children, but for everyone. As people have said before me, you can't tell how old a person is online. If we make a part of the forums accessible only to those who entered birth dates that make them 18+, all we'd be doing is giving them an incentive to create a second account that is 18+. After all, humans are always curious about what they aren't allowed to do.

I suggest if you want to do an 18+ rp, find a group of 18+ friends who might be interested, form a skype or discord group, and take it there. That way, Pokeheroes isn't liable if someone under 18 is in your RP

and you could have an off RP chat (if on discord) for 18+ pictures and lanugage as well.

The most you should have to do on PH is post a feed asking who'd be interested, and PM or palpad those who are interested the discord or skype group link

If you can read this, you know how to read.

In theory yes this would be a good idea but at the same time it's online so there is no definite way of figuring out if the other person is actually an adult it some 12 year saying they are just to be involved and even then it's a pokemon site meaning it's meant mainly for pokemon talk

What I would be suggesting is to keep adults(Except you, mods) OUT of the forums! What if one breaks into a RP and posts adult content?

Following all the no support and reasons that had been supplied by many on this thread, if someone is underaged and viewed this 'adult' forum and they saw explicit adult content(s), that's distributing porn to minors, which is illegal. Smut RPs with a minor, too, counts under it. While I'm not sure if PokèHeroes is exactly under the jurisdiction for the law, [ I'm not familiar with Germany's law ] if a minor involved is, they are doing something illegal.

Ehem, excuse me? All adults expect mods? Why do you even think mods are adults anyway? I know atleast one of them is 14-16. You don't need to be an adult to act mature and responsible.

I'm pretty sure adults are responsible enough to understand that this is a an all-age website and posting adult content is already breaking the rules so there's no need to keep them out of the forums. No one should be kept out of the forums. [ Expect those that have malicious intent or anything of the sort. ]

I honestly wouldn't be affected by this being that I'm not of that age yet, so I wouldn't mind this being implemented or not. But I would like to add-on that it would kind of be like another Pokemon Adoptable Site, PokeFarm, in having the "Mature" Forum for those 18+. When there's no way to verify your age on sites such as PokeHeroes & PokeFarm, it's incredibly easy to gain access to those subforums. (I, for one, said my birthday was in 1990 on PokeFarm and have access to those parts of the forums, yet I'm only 16.)

I do have to agree with Blanche though in saying that if you desperately want to Roleplay Adult Content that you should do so privately.

It's kind of the mod's job to make sure everyone follows the rules, especially in the Forums.

Your wording is also very confusing... It makes it sound like you want to post such things in RPs but at the same time want the mods to stop it?

I'm kind of confused: you want adults to be banned from the forums? XD I'm not sure how that'd work? Firstly, it'd have the same problem as the other way around with the fact that there is no way to verify age. Secondly, adults should know better than to be posting mature content - especially since it's specifically mentioned in our rules.

Pokemon came out in 1996 so people that were teenagers back then are 18+, so I disagree the site is for children. There's also people that came here from other collection site games which cater to all ages.

That said I can't give support to any of the things asking for private forums, private pal pads, private this that and the other - Riako pays money for this little part of the internet and that money should go towards improving the game, not him paying for more internet space to cater to only a small part of the community.

If people want to do private things that are not PH related and (as other threads suggest, hidden away from Mods eyes) then they can pay their own money for their own part of the internet to do it in and deal with the legal aspects of allowing minors to make accounts themselves.
