My suggestion is that we can give pokemons to gem collector and in return get 1/2 the number of gems of its real value in the exchange

support or no support?

No support, a lot of my Pokemon that I can get from gem collector I didn't get from him. If this was implemented I could be rich in all kind of gems despite the 1/2 ratio. It would make gem collecting too easy and no longer a challenge to get the gems you need.

For example, Spritzee costs 80 fairy gems from gem collector. I am breeding Spritzee and have a large amount, I return one I don't need and I get 40 fairy gems. Swirlix, that I have bred, costs 40 fairy gems in gem collector. Again, with my large amount, I'd get 20 fairy gems for each I trade. How easy is that? Too easy haha.

No support for reasons stated by Luna. It would be way too easy to get the rarer gems such as Dragon. Like all I need to do is start a hunt with a dragon and boom infinite dragon gems.

Like the rest of them have already said, it'd make the rarer gems much too easy to collect. I'm on a Houndour hunt. That's 40 Fire and 40 Dark gems. This would give me 20 Dark Gems per Houndour, and I've hatched over 200 of them. So 4000 Dark Gems just from this hunt with your suggestion.

maybe it would only work with pokemon you bought from the collector? otherwise no support

If it was with pokemon just received from the gem collector there'd be no point. If you get an egg by spending gems, hatch it, raise the pokemon, and decided to return it to get half the gems you spent then you should just not use the gem collector for getting eggs. You won't profit from this that way.

I agree that it should only be for Gem Collector Pokemon. Otherwise, no support.

The consensus is pretty clear that this shouldn't be implemented
[and with Riako not wanting Dragon Gems to become too common, this will probably never happen]
