It's a bit hard to let go of, sorry. Because believe it or not, some of us actually appreciate Riako. So if he wants to launch a new site - great. We'll support him. Spread the link around. Doesn't matter what day it is. Do you understand? If he had only trolled us - fine. But lets be clear: with this last prank he also, essentially, turned some of us into trolls.

We didn't know we were advertising a prank. So thanks, yeah, for creating endless amounts of tension and distrust. The backlash is still hitting us, as well. And that's just from the friends we can reach. In all likelyhood there are more than a few players over at digiheroes who don't play - or have any intention of playing - pokeheroes. So they won't know - or believe - that DH is actually just a prank and will be happily playing it, eager for an update to appear until the moment that whole site abruptly vanishes. What a nice first impression of PH that will create for them, hrm?

I only asked that you allowed yourself to let it go; if you decide not to, it's not my place to force you to let it go. If you feel this doesn't deserve to be dropped, or aren't ready for it yet, then by all means explain why. However, I would like to make clear that there's a difference between explaining why you think a prank went too far, and taking every chance you have to repeat that it was again and again. All you're doing, by that continuous repeat-cycle, without giving anything we can work with, is trap yourselves in a circle of resentment, which is something I don't wish on anybody.
If you need to let off some steam, by all means do so, but please don't take it overboard.

I sincerely apologize that this prank has backfired on some of you (including you, from what I understand?) more than (I and others) anticipated. It was certainly not the intention, as Riako himself said he hadn't expected it to blow up as much as it did. Now that we do know, trust that we'll learn from our experiences for future pranks/ideas and allow us to grow.

Going "Rawr bad prank" the first few hours after the reveal, I can understand; the anger is fresh and needs to be vented, lest it gets out even bigger than you might've wanted [though there are limits to how that anger is vented]. However, going back, and actively repeating that "rawr still bad prank" message over and over again, only lets you hold onto that anger; taking a deep breath and just thinking lets you voice everything with a clear head and is a lot more productive in the long run though I won't deny the satisfaction of letting out your anger, it might also make it harder to think about it rationally.
While I can understand it turning into feeling disappointed, which keeps lingering, and wanting to explain why you were angry/are disappointed, I have a harder time accepting that users are holding onto their anger, just for the sake of being angry, and don't give us anything, except "Yeah, still angry here", because that's simply not healthy.


Now, as a last point - the actual DigiHeroes-thread has not been locked, yet users have taken the fact that there's a part of this post used to 'reveal the prank' to talk about nothing but the prank in this thread, which, when it comes down to it, is about a user's suggestion (finally) being implemented on a big scale. I'm sorry, but that makes me feel like this post/thread has missed its purpose, which, in my opinion, is not fair to the users who wish to actually talk about the upcoming update.

The forum is actually visible for non-registered/non-logged in people; if you're worrying for the fall-out, because non-PH users simply don't believe it, feel free to link them to the DH-thread or even this specific post. The last thing we want to do, is get you in even more trouble with your friends, because of a prank.

I have a question, since the harvest sprite Staid is know to be found at "Emera beach" but appears randomly in any page, will it now be in Emera beach since it's being added?

I think it's going to stay as it is, because it would make Staid more easy to find; there would be a specific page you can 'camp out' on, instead of having to 'search' for it.
True, there is the connection between Staid and the beach, so there might be something, but only the actual update will make that clear ^^'

I hope he will appear at the beach I've been looking for him since i got the Ancient Cave unlocked. I have yet to fine him he's so hard >_<. I mean he should appear their but not often like having the same chance as on any other page maybe?
