Or have you ever wanted to gift pd to someone with pda short message ?
My suggestion is that there could be an option to type some message with the pd you're gifting .

This way when I gift PD to someone, I can tell them why without sending a pm, posting on a thread, or commenting on it in the chat. I don't do a lot of PD trading for stuff, but I do use it a lot for tips or helping new users out if I think they need the help. So while Pd may be "mainly" used for trades, I use it more for other things that having a short message to explain it would be nice and make things easier.
This also would have been nice when a user split the profits made from selling a pokemon that they bought from me. As that confused me until I went to them for clarification. (I didn't expect anything from them, yet they did it anyway)

And sending pm takes some time .It has to load two pages .
Gifting pd does not consume time .

Making this would need hard work, but this wouldn't be used that often.. So, It can be waste of Riako's effort. So, I would stay between agree and disagree.

If you have just ten users like me who would use this often enough, you have over 100 uses of it per week. This prevents 100+ forum posts, feed replies, pms, etc.
And with 11K user accounts and lots of active users per day, I don't think this is a feature that would be ignored. Especially with several people who are in the herochat who give PD to new users fairly frequently. Do you know how many pms get sent over this issue? Or how many users would actually use it?
It's one of those things that I don't think a lot of users would think of, but a lot of users would use if it's available to them. (Much like how there's the comments for the trades.)

And power, I doubt this would take a lot of effort and work to add a text box + the code is practically already made (When setting up a trade).

As for using it I think I'd like this feature because, not sure if this applies to others but, I do get PD often from people who pay me back money I lent to them or for something I asked for in the trading forum, and sometimes just out of the blue. So maybe getting a few sentences saying why would be easier than a PM or any misunderstandings.
