Ice moves actually do less than normal damage to water types.
Fighting isn't powerful to ground, and ground isn't powerful to
fighting. Emboar is also part fire, so that makes it weak to ground
moves. So it's not surprising an Emboar would lose to a Groudon.
Well, at least I know my Retro Delibird would have a chance against
Rayquaza, whenever I get the Sky Pillar map, being that it's a
super high level and part ice type. Yay, maybe.
I'll get my Yveltal to level 200 or at the very least 150 and see
if that helps. Because if 200 Starapyor is definitely able to beat
a Rayquaza then a legendary Pokemon should be able to as well haha.
And since they both can damage each other normally without being
super effective it should be an even fight between them.
So. Since Gyarados is part Flying does that mean it can go to Sky
Pillar?
What about Levitating Pokemon? I'd love to be able to take my 100+
Vibrava...
Even Pokemon that can't fly like Gyarados I guess could, yeah.
Levitate Pokemon can't, though. As long as the Pokemon is part
flying, it should be able to go up to sky pillar, and only those.
Levitating Pokémon almost definitely can't go, as Abilities aren't
even on PH and it'd be silly just to program them into one feature
of the site that doesn't even involve actual battling and won't
even be noticed by anyone who decides to actually read the list
of types and sees that ONLY Flying-types can go.
Why is everyone asking what Pokémon can go? Fire-types and
Ground-types can go to Terra Cave. Water-types can go to Marine
Cave. Flying-types can go to Sky Tower. There are no other
possibilities. If your Pokémon doesn't have one of those types,
then it can't go.
