There's not much point in playing the game to make Papy use Blasters. People datamined the game as soon as the update was out and only found a few lines of text, nothing more.
Personally, I feel this is hinting a new game, and I have 3 reasons to back this up. First, Toby said he'd like to start something new in 2016, followed by his existence is a mystery, or something like that. Second, he said in the kickstarter that this world and characters will have continuations (not those exact words, but it sounds like it). Thirdly... I actually forgot my third claim, but when I remember I'll edit it LOL.
I feel it's all hinting a new game.
@MettatonEX Dang, so jealous. I want to cosplay ;¬; I would probably cosplay Mettaton, yes because he is my favourite character, but his design is so cool

I'm debating doing Mettaton myself, actually. But I think I'll stick to Gaster and the Onepiece character I'm working on.
Actually... If I don't secure the wig, I could probably make a skull mask for both Brook and Papyrus.

That's great xD Every time I'm beating Sans in a Geno run I will always image him tying Frisk's soul to some string and waving it around like a yo-yo. Cannot unsee xD

Not as hard as you'd think, actually!
It's mostly one piece of airdry clay with the eyes and mouth cut out
Inside there's a little bit carved out so it sits on my face properly
It's got wire loops on either side and some string through those to keep it on
I just used tights and hot glue to cover the eyes and mouth
And then it got a coat or five of some really lovely pearlescent paint and a tiny bit of orange and blue along the respective cracks.
It seems like a lot but it was mostly waiting for stuff to dry huhuhu

I might actually attempt to animate this, using these as the basic beginning/middle/end frames.
