Marcus returns to his dorm only to find his roommate's curtain
closed. He's not very social. He mused. Little awkward
kids are always fun to play with. He crossed the room to his
desk and picked up the photo. Today was the first day at this
school. Mother. Father.
Spencer turned around as Oliver spoke and gave a light smile. "I
wanted to finish unpacking and such so I could explore the campus."
he explained while moving over to Oliver side of the room to help
him unpack. He quickly moved his hands in and out of the suitcase,
unpacking things on top of another.
Capt. Crunch jumped from Angelica's head to her bed. "Good boy."
Angelica grunted as she put her bag on the bed as well. "This
shouldn't take long..." Angelica said as she opened her bag and
started to unpack.
Shay walked back to her dorm, surprised to see an unfamiliar face
inside. After a short pause, she greeted the stranger. "Hi, you
must be ... Angelica, right?" she asked unsure if she'd correctly
remembered her new roommates name or not.
Angelica gasped and quickly hid Capt. Crunch under one of her bras.
"Uh.. Yeah that's me! You can call me Angel if you want." She
smiled. "You must be Shannon. It's nice to meet you."
Oliver was relieved that his last remaining pile of clothes in his
suitcase was going down. He was almost starting to think he may
have brought too much with him, but it didn't really matter now
anyways. Though, he appreciated Spencer's help of unpacking the
rest of his things.
"Hey, thanks for your help," he started out saying, while reaching
for what he noticed was one of his loose white t-shirts. It was
then that he realized that Spencer was also reaching for the
t-shirt quicker than he was. The other male's hand slipped under
his and onto the shirt, while Oliver's hand settled on top of his.
Oliver was hesitant for a moment before he realized what had just
happened.
"Eh, sorry about that," the male muttered, quickly moving his hand
away as he snatched the shirt up.
Shay was surprised at the sound of her full name before remembering
it was what was on the list. "Ah, Shannon's my full name, everyone
calls me Shay." she told her new roommate before patting at her
jean pockets, unable to find her phone. "Damn it, I think I left my
phone in the office..." she told herself and looked back at
Angelica. "Sorry, I wish I could stay and chat more, but that thing
cost a fortune and if my parents don't kill me for losing it,
they'll probably strip my powers." she rambled while tying her half
brown, half blonde hair in a short ponytail and running back down
to the office.
Spencer suddenly felt a something warm on top of his hand and
turned, finding Oliver's hand the source of the heat. He trailed
his eyes up his roommate's tattooed arm as it retracted and gently
placed his own hand under Oliver's chin to turn his head at
himself. Spencer felt his chest rising and butterflies in his
stomach as he gazed into the other boy's hazel eyes. 'Don't do
anything you'll regret...' he thought though quickly found
himself being taken over and doing what he really wanted to do,
pressing his own lips against Oliver's.
Angelica watched her roommate run out. "Good luck!" She yelled.
"That must suck to almost lose your phone..." She mumbled. "That
was close, Capt. Crunch. Thank god she didn't notice you." Angelica
picked up her bra and put it in her drawer. "Sorry about that." she
chuckled.
Oliver had no clue what to expect once Spencer had placed his hand
under his chin. "Hey, what are you--," the male started out, though
he could not finish his statement, as Spencer's lips pressed
against his own. Oli suddenly became dazed, unable to react to the
kiss he has just received. He could start to feel warmth traveling
to the surface of his cheeks, as his mind suddenly became aware.
(Not gonna proofread because I'm already pushing my luck right now
haha.)
Spencer's eyes widened as he realized what he'd just did and pulled
away from the kiss. He pulled up his right thumb and skimmed his
bottom lip with the same expression he'd had since he ended the
kiss. "I-I'm sorry. I — don't know w-what ... came over me..." he
stuttered while blushing. He quickly pulled himself up and dashed
straight for the exit. "I'm gonna go take that tour now, haha." he
yelled nervously while bolting out of their dorm to get as far away
from Oliver as he could whilst remaining on campus.
After Spencer made his way outside, he sat on a bench against the
track gate while fiddling with his thumbs and looking down in front
of him. Shay approached the bench after seeing whom she thought was
Spencer though could have easily been anyone else in the school.
Her now down hair got caught in the wind and she tried to tame it
with her hands. "Hey," she said while taking a seat next to her
brother, "why aren't you in your dorm with Oliver?" The older twin
let out a chuckle with a forced smile before turning to his sister.
"Because I kissed him." he told her nonchalantly before turning his
head back to the position it originally was in. "Ha, very funny."
Shay smiled while standing up. Her smile quickly faded as her
brother's expression didn't change. "Oh my God, you really kissed
him." She stated as Spencer merely nodded. She shook her head while
walking away. "I can't really deal with this right now, I just
found my phone and I need to finish unpacking..." she told her
brother while heading back to her dorm.
Angelica looked at her side of the room. Everything was unpacked
and Capt. Crunch had his own drawer for his food and toys. "Good
enough." She nodded. "Come on, Capt. Crunch. We are gonna explore."
She put her hand out and giggled as the ferret climbed up her arm.
"Maybe we might make some friends!" She lifted her fedora to let
the pet get comfy. "Even if we don't, I still got you! Now lets
go!" She grabbed her phone and basically ran out the door.
Randy hadn't really expected an answer to his remark so he was
slightly surprised when he got one. Turning his head to the side,
the lad's eyes came to rest on a quite short white haired girl. By
the looks of it, she hadn't had time to stop by the dorms before
the assembly or she just liked carrying all her stuff around with
her. Either way, it didn't really matter to Randy. Averting his
eyes from her, the boy returned his attention the sheet of paper in
front of him again as he answered the girl, "Well, if they had just
left this stuff for us in our dorms, they wouldn't have been able
to show off those oh so fancy teleportation powers of theirs, would
they? That surely wouldn't do."
As he was talking, Randy took a pen from the inner pocket of his
leather jacket and began writing down few classes on the paper.
Human studies was a must and he couldn't resist the mythical
creatures one so those went on the list first. They were followed
by Magical literature, problem solving, potions and art as the lad
deemed them interesting enough and not a waste of his time. Well,
mostly anyway. For the last one, he decided on advanced combat even
though it was surely a rather big risk for him but taking it would
most likely be beneficial in the long run.
Joanne goes to pick up her books and place them on the dresser for
the night as she curled up in bed to get some sleep.she hope her
nose would feel better when she wakes up however as she sleep she
has nightmare about how her family treated her and sent her away
from her home into the orphanage.
Angelica slapped her hand to her forehead. "Crap. I forgot about
that dumb paper!" She sighed and walked back into the room. She
didn't want to do this right now, but if she didn't do it now it
would never be done. "Let's get this over with..." She grabbed a
pen and sat on her bed. "Sorry Capt. Crunch." She shrugged and let
the ferret out from under her hat.
"Hey I found my ph- " Shay started as she walked in the dorm and
stopped when she saw Capt. Crunch. After a few seconds and
processing everything correctly, she screamed and flicked her
hands, attempting to blow up the ferret near Angelica though
missing and blowing off a chunk of the wall behind it. "I need to
work on my aim..." she told herself as she prepared to blast again.
Angelica screamed and grabbed Capt. Crunch. "What are you doing!?"
She held him close to her chest and moved to the other side of the
room. "You could have killed him!" The ferret was shaking in
Angelica's hands. "Chill out!"
Jooane wakes up scare from the sound and asks aloud"Are you guys
ok? i heard something blowing up and screaming". she gets up
worried to look outside her dorm to see if everyone is ok.
An explosion rattles Ryan from his reading trance. Calming his
racing heart, Ryan scowls, pulling the curtains open in annoyance.
Upon spotting North, his scowl fades a little in surprise. He
probably came in when Ryan had been reading. His scowl returns
though, and he leaves the room after slamming the door shut.
Shay heard either loud talking or screaming from outside though it
was muffled and she paid no attention to it. "Oh, that thing is
yours?" she asked Angelica coming off as a bit rude while slowly
putting her hands down to her waist. "I thought it was a rodent or
something."
"Yes this is mine!" She practically hissed. "And he isn't a thing.
His name is Capt. Crunch and he is a fluffy ferret." She carefully
put him on her shoulder. "He is a sweetheart." She lightly tapped
his nose. "Your freakout caused a bunch of comotion..."
