Spencer slowly began eating, pausing occasionally to take sips from
his coffee. After finishing his food, he wiped his mouth with a
napkin and returned his tray. He looked at the time and smiled
after realizing there was still forty-five minutes until classes
would begin. "Why don't we go back to our dorm for a little while
until class starts?" he suggested, not paying attention to whether
or not Oliver finished his breakfast or not. "I could use a catnap
with you right about now." he added with a wink.
Oliver hadn't even finished eating the majority of his breakfast
yet when Spencer mentioned taking a nap back at the dorm with him.
The thought was pretty tempting to him, he could admit, so he
agreed with it almost immediately. "Sounds perfect to me."
The male got in a few more bites of his breakfast and pretty much
finished his coffee, before he stood up with the tray in his hands.
Even with not eating the entire thing, the food had settled enough
to fill him up for the time being. That was really all that
mattered.
"Well good morning to you to." Ethan muttered to himself after
Randy had left the room. Ethan never ate breakfast in the morning
since he never felt hungry, so he was debating whether to go down
to the canteen or not.
He decided he would just start by packing his bag for classes. He
put his notebook and a few pens and pencils into the bag, along
with the book of water manipulation he borrowed from the
library.
After he had packed his bag, he chose to just go down to the
canteen to get something to drink before the classes began.
((Sometimes this RP just seems like a 1x1 between Mal and Doopliss
with the rest of just jumping in every here and there. x,P Don't
get me wrong though, I'm not butthurt or anything, I just find it
amusing.))
Once Randy got back in the room, Ethan was already gone. Probably
to stuff some food down his throat like everyone else, which is
what Randy was planning on doing next as well. The lad tossed his
stuff absentmindedly on his bed, he'd deal with them properly
later, and left the room to head to the dining hall. Upon arriving,
he didn't bother giving the other students having their breakfast
much attention as he got himself a piece of toast and a mug of tea.
The boy maneuvered himself to the back with his meager breakfast so
he could sit with his back to a wall. Once he was seated on a
table, Randy started nibbling on his toast while taking sips of his
tea every now and again.
After Bellatrix changed clothes and finished her morning routine,
she headed down to the dining hall, stepping into line to receive
some food. She picked up a tray, placing some scrambled eggs and
toast on her plate. She also grabbed a cup of orange juice before
picking up a fork and walking to an empty table and sitting down to
eat. Despite being surrounded by fellow students, she felt awfully
lonely, as she hadn't really made any friends. Bellatrix smiled as
Kasumi clambered down onto her tray, ripping off a bit of egg to
feast on as Bellatrix took a bite herself.
Kauri sat down at a table not far away from Bellatrix and began
eating while reading a book she had picked up at the library the
day before about countering the powers of others. She wasn't a very
good fighter, but when forced to violence, she opted to a more
strategic type of scuffle. She figured that she'd rather be safe
than sorry, and decided to read up a little on the subject.
(Then it's time to take the spotlight from Mal and Doopliss xD)
Once Ethan had made it to the canteen, he decided that he wanted a
hot chocolate, but the que for the hot chocolate was massive and it
had taken him forever to get one.
Once he finally had his hot chocolate, he looked around for a table
to sit at. He glanced down to the back of the room and say a
familiar face; his roommate.
He manoeuvred his way down to the back of the room and placed
himself on the seat facing Randy. "Hello my favourite roommate.
Loving morning, it's it?" Ethan said with a grin.
((Yes, it's time for da revolution! Take up arms everyone, we're
going to war! :,D))
Just as Randy was taking a sip of the hot tea, someone dared to sit
on the the seat opposite from him and the lad lifted his eyes only
to discover that the one who had dared to disrupt his peace was
none other than his damned roommate. Slightly annoyed by the fact
that he couldn't even eat his breakfast in peace, Randy gave Ethan
a confused look laced with suspicion. "What do you want?" the lad
asked bluntly before taking another small bite of his toast and
washing it down with some tea. Surely this boy would have better
things to do than pester him, right? So Ethan had to be after
something.
Just as pleasant as ever I see. Ethan thought to himself as
he took a sip of his hot chocolate. Ethan could sense that Randy
wasn't exactly happy to see him, but he really didn't care.
"I'm just trying to make friends with my new roommate. You do want
to be friends with me, right Randy?" Ethan said with a smirk, "I
understand if don't, just say the word and I'll leave you alone and
never bother with you again."
Truth be told, Ethan was just trying to be friendly. He knew he
would need friends to survive the next few years in this school,
and he actually happened to like Randy.
If Randy had been confused and suspicious before, there was no
words for his current state of mind. Why on earth would Ethan want
to be his friend? Sure, pretty much everyone wants to be able to
coexist with their roommate but there was no need for any
friendship. The situation was making the lad a bit uncomfortable so
in an unconscious attempt to put distance between himself and the
other boy, Randy leaned back in his seat while crossing his arms.
He didn't even look at Ethan as he huffed before spitting out his
response, "Me? Friends with you? Are you kidding me?." The lad
cocked his head slightly as he finally looked at his roommate
again, "Friends are for lame people and weaklings that can't stand
on their own. That's not me."
"So you want to spend all your time at this school alone? No
friends, no allies, no one to to talk to, absolutely no one;
Completely isolated from everybody else?" Ethan replied to his
harsh remark about that having friends made you weak.
Ethan gulped down the last of his hot chocolate and placed the
empty cup on the table. He was tempted just to give up on Randy at
this stage, maybe he really did just want to be completely alone
for the next few years. "Just think about it, would it really be so
bad just to have one friend?" This was Ethan's final straw, if
Randy didn't want it be his friend, then they would just be
roommates, and nothing more.
Bellatrix noticed two nearby students chatting at a nearby table.
She honestly disliked sitting alone, so she picked up her tray and
walked over to the table, disrupting the tiny dragon on her tray,
prompting Kasumi to start spitting tiny sparks of energy. "Hey, do
you mind if I could sit with you guys?" She asked them, smiling as
Kasumi settled down on the edge of the tray. "I kinda hate sitting
alone, y'know?"
((Lowkey was thinking how this could have easily just been 1x1 with
me and Doop lol))
After Spencer and Oliver made their way back into their dorm,
Spencer laid in Oliver's arms with his eyes open and stared at the
wall. "I could stay in your arms forever if you'd let me..." he
admitted in a low voice. He loved the feeling of being held by
Oliver, feeling the warmth of his body and the beat of his heart,
and it's something he wouldn't mind getting used to if the other
male had plans to have a serious relationship with him though they
both did.
At that moment, wind-like noises could be heard and two pieces of
aged paper appeared surrounded by yellow orbs that vanished
instantly and falling onto the two. Spencer picked up the paper
that read "Spencer Adkins" at the top and "Class Schedule"
written underneath it in smaller print. All seven days of the week
were written in the form of a chart, the weekends having a blank
column, and his classes were listed there by day. "I have Advanced
Combat, Advanced Telekinesis and Human Studies today..." he told
Oliver while examining the rest of his schedule.
( Oh well x'D I'm actually looking forward to interacting with the
other characters in the classes though :b )
The two males had made it back to their dorm room to spend the rest
of their free time before class to themselves. Oliver had been
holding the other male in his arms, as the two stayed in the
silence of their room. The male couldn't help but smile at
Spencer's comment, though he said nothing. In his mind, he knew it
was true and that's just exactly what he wanted as well.
Suddenly, two sheets of paper appeared before the two, one of them
with his name on it, the other with Spencer's name at the top. The
male grabbed the sheet of paper, looking through the chart that was
printed on it. In the chart was the list of classes and which days
they were on. In response to Spencer saying which classes he had
today, Oliver said, "I have Advanced Combat and Human Studies
today. Seems like we'll be having the first class today together."
//I'm doing a lil time skip for myself Bc I have no idea what to
do
I'm sorry//
Angelica ran her fingers through her hair. It was still slightly
wet, but she didn't care. "Man... I can't do this again." She
groaned. "I had little red marks on my face. So I know you tried to
wake me up." She looked at Capt Crunch. "Thanks man." She chuckled.
Spencer turned onto his stomach so he'd be looking at Oliver. "Do
you want to meet up for lunch after my Telekinesis class? It'd be
right around then and we could go to Human Studies afterwards. I
was going to suggest skipping the class for the day, but we'd need
to at least know about the workload and such." He lifted his
schedule back into view and read a note at the bottom of the paper.
"Oh, look, there's 20 minutes in between every class too." he
pointed out.
Shay walked into her dorm to see Angelica. "Hey, you might wanna
head down to breakfast real quick. Advanced Combat is starting
pretty soon." Shay suggested to her roommate while fixing her bra
strap nonchalantly.
Oliver nodded and in response said, "Of course we could meet up for
lunch." Though, the male wasn't too sure about skipping class
already. It was their first day and it probably wouldn't look good
if they were already skipping. Besides, he wanted to see how the
classes were at this school first before he decided to brush them
off every once in a while and he was still looking forward to
meeting the other students. He explained such to the other male and
ended with, "Unless you have something else better in mind?"
Spencer listened as Oli explained what'd currently be best for them
educational wise and thought for a moment at his question before
smriking. "Well, there is something but it would be a little
... too much for us right now." Spencer admitted with his smirk
becoming as a wide smile and a giggle. Before Oliver could respond
to what he'd just said, he got up from the comfortable position he
was in and held out his hand. "C'mon, let's head to class."
Shay nodded at Angelica's quick thanking and exited the dorm to
head to class a bit early.
Oliver watched as a smirk widened upon Spencer's face after what
the other male had just said. He had a feeling of what the male was
trying to say and before he could respond, the other male had
gotten up the bed, holding out his hand. Instead of continuing on
the subject, Oliver let a small smile rest on his face as he took
Spencer's hand, getting himself out of the bed.
Spencer entwined his and Oliver's fingers together and left the
dorm to go to their class. He looked up at Oliver as they walked
with a smile on a face. When the two neared the class, he spotted
Shay waiting outside the classroom with a few other students. "Hey,
is the door locked or something?" Spencer asked which Shay simply
answered with a nod. She squinted at Oliver quickly before Spencer
could notice and sighed heavily. 'I don't trust this guy...'
she thought, forcing a smile whilst tilting her head slightly at
Oliver.
