Oliver had returned to the sink as well and began to finish his
morning tasks. The male began combing his hair after he finished
brushing his teeth while Spencer asked him again about getting
food, but to bring his sister along. Once he finished fixing his
hair, he turned his gaze over to the other male and said, "Yeah,
sure. We could do that."
"That's good because I may or may not have texted her before asking
you." Spencer admitted and lifting his phone into Oliver's view to
see text messages between the two twins, Spencer asking where Shay
was and Shay responding with her already being in the dining hall.
"Anything else you gotta do?" he asked Oliver with a smile.
Spencer was right; the male looked at the text messages between him
and his sister. It was fine to him though. The male barely knew
anything about the other male's sibling, besides the few minutes
with her the day before, while going through the class list.
"Unless dropping my things off back at the room counts, then no."
"We can just stop there on the way, I have to drop things off too."
Spencer told Oliver whilst wrapping his arms around the other
male's waist and looking up at him with a smile.
"Sorry for not checking with you before seeing if we could meet up
with Shay, it's just she's been there my entire life and I haven't
learned to how to do a lot of things without her." he apologized in
a low voice while gazing into Oliver's eyes.
"It's not a problem," the male replied softly, making his way
towards the exit of the bathroom, his things in his hands, "I'm
pretty understanding. Besides, it'll be nice to get to know your
sister somewhat." He just couldn't be bothered by it at the
moment.
With that, he left to return to the dorm room to drop off his
things, Spencer following. By now, he could hear a faint growl
coming from his stomach. He just wondered if the food was any good
at this place.
Spencer threw his things on his bed upon entering the dorm. "You
can put your stuff on my bed if you want. We probably won't be
using it anytime soon anyway and I'll sort through it later and
all." he told Oliver while brushing some of his hair out of his eye
with his finger.
Oliver dipped his head silently and dropped his things on Spencer's
bed, and glanced up at the other male. "Let's get going then; I'm
starting to get hungry," the taller male said, hearing another
growl coming from his stomach. He reached for Spencer's hand and
turned towards their open dorm room door to leave.
Spencer smiled as Oliver held out his hand and entwined their
fingers together. "I wonder what kind of food they'll have."
Spencer said in a rather curious tone of voice as the two walked to
the dining hall hand-in-hand.
Upon entering the dining hall, Spencer spotted Shay and together
with Oliver walked over to her table and sat across from her. Shay
looked up as they sat and squinted at their hand holding. "What's
this?" Shay asked in a somewhat angered tone.
Oliver walked into the dining hall, his hand holding Spencer's as
they found and approached the other male's sister. By her tone, she
didn't seem too happy, but she just had to take the truth. "Spencer
and I are together," he said casually, in response to Shay's
question. A slight smirk tipped the corner of his mouth upward as
the words hung in the air. He wanted to be straightforward with his
boyfriend's sister, so he just had to come out with it. Though,
Oliver seemed to hold onto Spencer's hand tighter as he waited for
a response from the female.
Spencer blushed slightly when he heard Oliver say the two were
together nonchalantly. "Yeah. We're together." he repeated and
flashed a nervous smile at his sister. He felt his hand being held
tighter by Oliver and brushed his thumb on the tattooed hand.
Shay glared at the two and stayed silent for a bit. "You both
literally met like - yesterday." she reminded the couple after a
few seconds of silence, though Spencer was quick to object.
"Shannon," Spencer started, Shay scowling at the sound of Spencer
using her full name, "I know it hasn't been long, but it still
feels right ... l-like I know it'll work out. We already care about
each other and all." Shay sighed and redirected her focus to
Oliver, sizing him. "What do you have to say?" she asked rudely.
Oliver stifled a sigh as he stood his ground, keeping a firm grip
on Spencer's hand. "You may be right about that, but there's no way
I'm going to do anything to hurt your brother here." And with a
hesitant pause, he bites his lip, trying to ease his nervousness.
"What he's saying is the truth."
His gaze was focused directly on the female, never wavering as he
spoke.
Shay sized Oliver again before sighing and closing her eyes.
"Alright... I'll take your word for it." she stated before bringing
her eyes back to Oliver. "You," she started in a more
deepened, serious, and threatening tone, "if you do anything
to hurt my brother, I swear I will shove my foot so far up your ass
you won't be able to see." Spencer's eyes widened at his sister's
threat as the younger twin stood up and walked away, presumably
back to her dorm. Spencer turned to Oliver with shock frozen on his
face. "I am so sorry about her." he apologized.
Shay reentered her dorm and saw Angelica just waking up. "You
decided to wake up this morning." she joked while reaching under
her bed for a large book, the same she'd found the stunning potion
in, and flipped through the pages of it once she found it.
Once Shay was out of sight, Oliver gave off a nervous chuckle and
rubbed the back of his head with his other free hand. That was a
response he'd expect from someone who was really overprotective of
another. "She sounds pretty serious, but I don't think I'll have to
worry about it," the male commented, yet his nervousness still
lingered at the threat. His sister was, he could admit, pretty
intimidating when she was angry. At least that's done and over
with.
"Let's get our food, yeah?" The male just wanted to brush off what
had just happened.
Spencer smiled at Oliver's comment. When Oliver suggested they'd
get food, he couldn't deny as he himself was getting a bit hungry.
Before he answered, he leaned forward and gave Oliver a reassuring
kiss as if he were saying "I know you have nothing to worry
about".
"Let's go get our food before I'm tempted to keep kissing you."
Spencer whispered with a wink and stood up to get in line.
The kiss from Spencer was enough to reassure Oliver that nothing
would happen. Both of them were pretty confident in their
relationship and Oliver didn't want any part in ruining it and he
definitely wouldn't let anyone else ruin it for either of them.
With his nervousness easing, the male smiled and followed closely
behind Spencer to get into the line. As the line stood still, the
male placed his arm around Spencer, resting his hand on the male's
side as they waited.
Spencer, almost instinctively, laid his head on Oliver's shoulder
as he felt the taller of the two place his arm around him. "You'd
think in a Magic School they'd just conjure everything and give it
to you real quick..." he said in a low voice to make sure no one
but Oliver heard. His nose caught the aroma of fresh coffee and he
tried to peek over motionless heads that stood in front of the
couple, but couldn't. "Oli, could you see if they have coffee up
there?" he asked while still attempting to see over the heads in
front of him.
"That would only make sense," the male muttered in response. The
line didn't seem to be moving, at least not much that he or Spencer
could tell. He just hoped that they'd get their food sometime soon,
so they'd have enough time to eat and make it to class
afterwards.
Seeing as Spencer seemed to be struggling to see above some of the
other students' heads, the male peered around them to check if they
were serving coffee up ahead of them. Just moments later, a student
had walked by, a cup of coffee in their hands. Oliver's eyes
followed the coffee cup for a few moments, then turned to Spencer.
"Looks like it."
Once the line moved along, Spencer grabbed a tray and placed a
plate of scrambled eggs and bacon before sprinkling some pepper on
top. At the end of the line, he took a cup coffee and a fork before
returning to the table they'd originally sat at, making sure to
wait for Oliver to get his food first to see what kinds of things
he liked for future reference.
Eventually, the line began to move up and Oli grabbed his tray,
taking pancakes for himself, while he noticed that Spencer had
taken scrambled eggs and bacon. He too, grabbed himself a cup of
coffee, hoping that drinking it would allow him to make it through
the day, at least after the last class had ended. He then walked
back to the table where Spencer was now sitting at, the table that
they both found his sister just earlier before, and sat down beside
the other male.
